MADE x EHA CALI LIVE: 17u Under-the-Radar

<p>ORANGE and LOS ANGELES COUNTIES — We were in Southern California for the first live viewing period of the spring club and travel ball season. The MADE Hoops and EHA Circuit collaboration was once again the best tournament for competition and prospect viewing in SoCal and below we take a look at some of the under-the-radar prospects at the 17u level who played well in front of college coaches and scouts.</p>   <h4 class="wp-block-heading">Aman Haynes | 2025 | CA Gold</h4>   <p>Some may consider Haynes is a bit of a "tweener" when it comes to his position because he doesn't have the prototypical build of a guard or big but there's no questioning that the 2025 prospect is a basketball player. Haynes can do a little bit of everything on the floor from initiating offense and creating for others with IQ and pinpoint passing from multiple spots of the floor. He's also a capable driver and scorer who uses his body to shield off defenders and angles to create openings to score in the painted area.</p>   <h4 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='1674773' first='Austin' last='Maziasz'] | 2025 | Cali Stars Black</h4>   <p>Maziasz is one of the better shooters we have in Southern California's 2025 class. The 6-foot-5 wing is lethal off the catch with time and space and is a smart mover without the ball to create space for drivers and the right angles for teammates to deliver on-time and on-target passes. Maziasz has shown improvement with his off-bounce three-point and mid-range shooting this spring.</p>   <h4 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='2305534' first='Bryce' last='Goldman'] | 2024 | BTI Select</h4>   <p>Goldman put together an eye-opening performance Friday night with his steady all-around game and ability to impact winning on both ends of the floor. The 6-foot-3 unsigned senior was breaking down defenders and getting into the lane where he finished through contact but also did a nice job of playing off of two feet and finding open teammates. Goldman is planning to do a prep school year back east at St. Thomas More.</p>   <h4 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='2425677' first='Kawika' last='Suter'] | 2026 | CA Gold</h4>   <p>Suter is an intriguing class of 2026 prospect because of his versatility on the offensive end. The 6-foot-7 wing can stretch the floor with the catch and shoot three, flashed some scoring feel and touch in the post and is a guy who makes the simple but smart play in transition. Suter can rebound the defensive glass, push the break and initiate offense with his ball skills and overall feel for the game.</p>   <h4 class="wp-block-heading">Chris Komin | 2025 | ACES</h4>   <p>Komin could be bound for a breakout senior season at St. John Bosco with the confidence he is gaining as being the go-to guy for his club team. The 6-foot-3 off-guard is a jack-of-all-trades type of prospect whose pop of athleticism catches opponents by surprise when he attacks the rim in transition and his ability to knock down the mid-range and deep three-point shots stretches the defense. </p>   <h4 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='1896215' first='Devin' last='Hamilton'] | 2025 | South Bay Show</h4>   <p>Hamilton is one of the more underrated athletes in Southern California. The 6-foot-4 wing has a powerful frame and is an explosive leaper off both one and two feet and can elevate for power finishes in the open court and in traffic. Hamilton's slashing and scoring ability through contact was on full display over the weekend.</p>
