Multiple high school events will be taking place in the summer months including the IBCA Top 100 workout, the Charlie Hughes Showcase, plus multiple summer leagues. Prep Hoops Indiana will be out in full force all month watching multiple high schools prospects across the board. Let’s go ahead and take a look at four 2026 PFs that are on my watch list for the summer.
When it comes to power forwards in the Indiana high school class of 2026, is the best out of all of them in my personal opinion. He is coming off a breakout sophomore year at Lawrence North where he really established himself as the top power forward in his class,. Fundamentally, he is a great big already for his young age. The 6’6″ forward is very versatile on the offensive end of the floor and rebounds at a high level. He along with his Lawrence North and Indy Heat teammate Kai McGrew Kai McGrew 6’8″ Lawrence North | 2026 State IN make for the best front court in the entire state.

Probably not more long term potential in the class of 2026 than the Carmel power forward. He has had a pretty strong spring running with Indiana Elite 2026 3SSB after a sophomore season which saw him get better and better throughout the year. At 6’8 he has excellent height and length to pair with his guard-like skill. He is starting to gain interest from D1 schools at all levels and it is only a matter of time before those offers start pouring in. Why not start with that this summer?

Cooper Bock Cooper Bock 6’6″ | PF Sullivan | 2026 State IN is an extremely under-the radar prospect that you really need to start to get to know. He is running with a very good Indiana Jammers team and the sophomore power forward out of Sullivan has been one of their best players if not their best player this spring. He is coming off a sophomore season that saw him average a team high 12.4 points and 5.9 rebounds and I would not be shocked to see those numbers double his junior season. Coaches, if you are looking for hidden gem in the class of 2026, the super athletic, consistent rim scorer Bock is your guy.

Cooper Hess Cooper Hess 6’7″ | PF Zionsville | 2026 State IN is a player that you could see just rise his stock higher and higher over the next couple of years. At 6’7, Hess is one of the more aggressive power forward you will see in the Indiana high school class of 2026 and is someone that is not afraid to track down every rebound and play through contact. This upcoming summer when school ball starts back up, Hess is going to take more important role for the Eagles and continue to build off how well he has done playing for Kyle Guy Elite 2026 this spring. Hess is a name to keep tabs on this summer.
