PICTURED: [player_tooltip player_id='1981500' first='Baba' last='Diop']

A St. Louis-based AAU program, Brad Beal Elite showcased several Tennessee hoopers over the weekend at EYBL's Session II. The event took place in the northeastern Atlantan suburb of Suwanee, Georgia.

Brad Beal 17u

[player_tooltip player_id='1318564' first='Christian' last='Brown'] (Franklin) is the lone Volunteer State squad member for Brad Beal 17u.

Brad Beal 16u

BBE runs out two elite middle Tennesee guards: [player_tooltip player_id='1560719' first='Trey' last='Pearson'], [player_tooltip player_id='1572632' first='Cam' last='Blivens'].

Brad Beal 15u

[player_tooltip player_id='1981500' first='Baba' last='Diop'] (Webb-Bell Buckle)
[player_tooltip player_id='2417844' first='Collin' last='Robinson']
[player_tooltip player_id='2194485' first='Joshua' last='Huggins'] (Goodpasture)

[player_tooltip player_id='1981500' first='Baba' last='Diop'] found minutes as a rotation piece for Brad Beal Elite 15u outside Atlanta. His length and agility got him to this level, but he is a long-term guy, far from polished right now. Baba was consistently blocking out with his elbows back. Wonderful commitment to the craft. Diop did not get shots or considered an offensive option by his teammates. Less so than last year, there is a bit of timidity to his game. Baba does not realize how strong he naturally is and clattering into guys does not come instinctively to him. The game is probably not as physical in the paint in his native Sweden, and his acclimation will require a little more eagerness to take and give contact. Webb Head Coach Micah Williams is bringing him along nicely.

L vs. All-Ohio Red -- 2p, 6r in 14 min
L vs. Team Herro (WI) -- 0p, 0r in 6 min
W vs. LivOn (LA) --0p, 1r, 1a in 10 min (0-2 3's)
W vs. Mac Irvin FIRE -- 2p, 0r, 3 fouls in 10 min

[player_tooltip player_id='2417844' first='Collin' last='Robinson'] is a completely new name to me.

L vs. All-Ohio Red -- 1r in 6 min
L vs. Team Herro (WI) -- 3p in 10 min (2-5 FG)
W vs. LivOn (LA) -- 3p, 1r in 19 min
W vs. Mac Irvin FIRE -- 3p (1-2 FG), 1a in 10 min

[player_tooltip player_id='2194485' first='Joshua' last='Huggins'] started for Goodpasture as an eighth grader. The last eighth graders to play prominent roles for GHS were [player_tooltip player_id='1259393' first='Jayden' last='Jones'] and King Keary, so he is in great company already. Huggins played as a 4/5 against Mac Irvin FIRE (IL). Huggins is a powerful two-foot leaper.

L vs. All-Ohio Red -- 2p. 2r in 22 min
L vs. Team Herro (WI) -- 6p, 2r in 23 min
W vs. LivOn (LA) -- 6p, 7r in 20 min
W vs. Mac Irvin FIRE (IL) -- 7p (3-5 FG), 1r, 1 to in 16 min

https://twitter.com/joshuahuggins_4/status/1762995726219448662

Non-EYBL

Elsewhere, [player_tooltip player_id='1659680' first='Garrett' last='Giles'] (Oak Ridge) starred for the Hawks Elite 17u team.
