Continue Reading- Russell’s Caleb Rimmer Caleb Rimmer 6'4" | SF Russell | 2027 State KY is still transitioning from a post player to a wing but he’s been hindered by an injury this spring. Caleb put up 15 points and 8 rebounds per game in his Freshman season for a Russell team that was very young and is set up for multiple years of success. Look for Rimmer to continue his evolution to more of a true wing and more comfortable with his ball handling and deep range shooting.
- Woodford County has a deep stable of guards and wings and Thurman Wade Thurman Wade 6'3" | SF Woodford County | 2027 State KY is a nice piece for them moving forward. An athletic playmaker and improving shooter, Thurman had a solid Freshman season and is in the midst of a very good 15u AAU season. Capable of playing lockdown defense in addition to his improving offense, Wade is a name to monitor, moving forward.
- Nolan Coffman Nolan Coffman 6'4" | SF Madisonville-North Hopkins | 2027 State KY was a top 10 prospect when we launched our rankings last year but didn’t see the floor much as a freshman at Madisonville. Now that he’s back with his AAU team, Coffman is back to showing the kind of potential that had him ranked among the best in the class, previously. Look for Nolan to have a big June with the Maroons and ride that momentum into July.
- Joe Smith Joe Smith 6'4" | SF North Laurel | 2027 State KY is a prospect who should have a much bigger role as a Sophomore on a North Laurel squad that was rebuilding this season. Smith is a good athlete with a solid jumper that can get to the rim and take contact on drives. Joe needs to improve his lateral quickness for defensive purposes but he’s already a good offensive weapon for the Jaguars and will continue to get better as his career progresses.
- Simon Kenton’s Eddie Marx Eddie Marx 6'0" | PG Simon Kenton | 2027 State KY is a good player that no one know about outside of northern Kentucky. Eddie played a minor role as a Freshman but is likely to see a big increase in playing time and opportunity, starting next month with “summer ball”.
