PH NorCal has updated the rankings for the 2027 class. Many in this group either played on their high school JV team or we're getting our first look at some in this Spring AAU season. It's early in the process so many of these prospects can improve and move up the rankings with good play.

[player_tooltip player_id='2440978' first='Ian' last='Desai'] 6'1 Guard, Monte Vista; NBBA Elite UA Rise 15
He's a good all around prospect that can do multiple things on the court. He's a good ball handling guard, with good vision and passing, he passed it up in transition and around the perimeter. He handles contact well on the drive and he's willing to mix it up for rebounds at the 15u level. He gives good effort defending on the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2440987' first='Jacob' last='Gonzalez'] 6'3 PF, Lincoln Stockton Port city 15 3SGB
Standing 6'3 he's a solid body, good rebounding forward at the 15u level. He uses his body to box out, get himself in good position for tap ins and put backs. He made himself a target at the low post, finishing strong taking it up off two feet in the paint. He has a good size body to defend in the post at this level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2440989' first='Barack' last='Volson'] 6'0 CG, Lincoln Stockton, Port City 15
He's a long arm prospect who finished his shot around the rim. He runs the court making his layups, and filling lanes. He had good movement on defense using his long arms away from the body, moving laterally, and staying close to ball handlers, and shooters. He used the pump fake inside to his advantage.

[player_tooltip player_id='2440998' first='Dane' last='Bromfield'] 6'1 CG, Granite Bay; Rose City Ballers 15
He's a good size guard who works hard to fill the lanes in transition. Bromfield shoots the ball well from behind the 3pt line. He works his way around the perimeter looking to knock down open 3's. He hit a couple of catch and shoot corner 3's, and a couple from the top.
[player_tooltip player_id='2440141' first='James' last='Barnes'] 5'7 PG, Clayton Valley, Evolve 15 Scooter
A fast guard with handles and speed pushing the ball up court looking to pass up. He sets the offense up top, has a good first step to get by defenders. He was unafraid to attack bigger defenders going to the basket in transition. He has the speed to stay close to speedy ball handlers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2441702' first='Kamani' last='Alexander'] 5'10, G, Evolve 15 Scooter
Standing at 5'10, he did well working for rebounds, and put back points at the 15u level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2443130' first='Logan' last='Ahl'] 6'9 Center, Modesto Christian, Team United 16u
There's no questioning the rawness of Ahl, but standing 6'9 in the 2027 class buys him some time to get his fundamentals in order. He's a big body who boxes out going after rebounds. He's deliberate with his movements in the post, he gets wide with hands up wanting the ball. His drop step using the glass is his main move right now.

[player_tooltip player_id='2443128' first='Kiran' last='Tate Day'] 5'9 Guard, Sacred Heart Cathedral; SF WHPH
A fast guard who finishes in transition. He has the ball handling and vision to run the point, he made good bounce passes into the post, and moved the ball around the perimeter, no wasted dribbling. He's probably as pass first guard. He's shown the quickness to defend on ball and help in the passing lanes.
