With the NCAA transfer portal jamming up high school recruiting, we expect there will be a host of extremely talented players who switch schools this spring / summer. Many of them will reclass into a later graduate year.

Below is the first installment in our Transfer Watch 2024 series.
Joshua Benka-Coker – 6’7″ / 2027 / Pennington School / New Heights / Small Forward: The former Bethlehem Catholic standout (10 ppg.) is transferring to Pennington School in New Jersey and reclassing into 2027 graduate year.In 2023-23 Benka-Coker was an interior force at both ends. His generated points in the paint via quick post ups and the offensive glass. On defense Benka-Coker was an intimidating shot blocker and beast on the glass. After this past season, Benka-Coker was a 1st team All-EPC selection.
Jaen Chatman Jaen Chatman 6'2" | CG East Stroudsburg South | 2025 State PA – 6’2″ / 2026 / Blair Academy / NJ Panthers / Combo Guard: Unfortunately, East Stroudsburg South is losing one of the top players in the Poconos. This past season Chatman produced points at every level and distributed as well as rebounded at a high level. He averaged 27 points per contest and was the Pocono Area POY. The highlight of his 2022-24 season was his 30 points (3 3PM) and 11 rebounds performance against Allentown Central Catholic. Chatman recently announced on social media that he is transferring to Blair Academy (NJ) and reclassing into the 2026 graduate year.
Antonio Lozada Jr. – 5’9″ / 2028 / Academy of New Church / K-Low Elite / Point Guard: Lozada is an ultra-quick lead guard with elusive handles. He can score off the dribble and is a threat to splash threes from all around the arc. He is ranked as a 3-star prospect by Top25recruit.com. Lozada will be taking his talents from Antonio Pantoja Charter School (PA) and move over to ANC.
Kyle Shawaluk Kyle Shawaluk 6'4" | SG Perkiomen Valley | 2024 State PA – 6’5″ / 2025 / Perkiomen School / PSB Philly / Wing: This past season Shawaluk averaged 12.4 points, 6 assists and 6 rebounds per night while shooting 40% from deep. He posted several 20-point games and notched a 30-spot in a win over Exeter. On defense Shawaluk (1st Team All-PAC selection) was a lockdown defender who typically drew the assignment of guarding the opposing team’s top scoring option. This long and athletic wing prospect just announced that he is headed to Perkiomen School for a post graduate year.
