Shane’s Tier 2 Saturday Players – The Stage

He has a great size for his position. He is a good athlete. He moves really fluidly and well laterally which helps him be a good defender. He is also super tough. He puts his head down and puts pressure on the rim consistently. He played super strong for his size. He bangs in the posts by getting rebounds and defending super well. He did this by using his length great. He also had his hands up and let them shoot the ball into his hands rather than trying to block everything. He is very fundamentally sound. He has a good touch on the offensive end as well. He is a super long guard who is quick. He can stop on a dime which makes it tough for anyone to stay in front of him. He has a good handle on the ball and makes good moves. He had a good-looking shot as well. He played almost the entire game and never let his foot off the pedal. He is a good athlete and he used it to do the dirty work. He did all the little things most do not do. He dictated contact and was a good slasher. He can shoot it from wherever on the court and it will go in but he does not rely on it. He took it to the rim and had some head-scathing finishes. When the game got tight you wanted the ball in his hand because you just trusted his scoring ability.
