Tylin George (Up Next 2026): A 6’3″ 2026 guard from Hopkinsville (KY) who was probably the top young prospect that I watched during the day. He was playing race horse basketball as he was always on the attack with his strong motor. He was scoring on coast to coast drives, pull up jumpers and excellent spin moves in traffic. He also displayed some explosive athleticism by throwing down a few transition dunks.
Calvin Dees (Mid Pro Select): A 6’0″ 2026 guard from O’Fallon (IL) who was constantly making things happen with his athleticism and high motor. He was at his best when he was slashing to the basket and finishing at the rim. He was excellent in the open court and he can also make the open 3-pointer from the corner.
Kerrell Cameron (St Louis Pistons): A 6’1″ 2025 guard from Confluence Prep Academy who was one of the most talented offensive players that I watched during the day. He used his nifty handles to create his own shot and get to spots to knock down pull up jumpers from the mid range area. He also displayed good court vision with a number of nifty passes off the dribble. He had some nice no-looks and wrap-arounds to cutting teammates.
Brenden Doyle (TruVision): A 5’9″ guard from Lutheran St. Charles who came off the bench to provide instant offense with his 3-point shooting. He understood his assignment, which was to come in and change the tenor of the game with his long range shooing. He was knocking shots down from well beyond the 3-point line. He could also create his own shot off the dribble.
Reid Metzger (Mid Pro Select): A 6’2″ guard from Waterloo (IL) who played with tremendous effort and activity. He was slashing to the basket on the drive and also scoring in the low post by using his body and his use of footwork and pump fakes. He could also knock down the open 3-pointer to compliment his drive game.
