As the spring signing period goes along, players from the Class and 2024 - as well as previous Oregon prep stars - are finding four-year homes. Going to the NCAA Division III level are a handful of players, and among those current seniors making that jump is Tony Angelo Tony Angelo Tony Angelo 5'8" | PG Central Catholic | 2024 State OR . The hard-nosed 5-foot-11 point guard from 6A champions Central Catholic recently made the decision to continue his academic and playing career in Southern California at Cal Lutheran.

"I decided on Cal Lutheran because of the way the coaches recruited me and how much they invested in wanting to know who I am as a person not just a basketball player," Angelo said. "I have built great relationships with them and the players I met there were great dudes as well. I like the Sports Management and sports exercise major that the school offers, as well as the location of the school itself. It is in a beautiful area of California where I can do lots of things off the court."

Angelo - who averaged 6.0 points and 2.7 assists in 2023-24 and was in many ways considered the heart and soul of the Rams title team - wasn't originally quite sure if he would continue playing basketball in college but through the recruiting process found the right match with Cal Lutheran. "I can see myself fitting in with their program," Angelo said. "They are a hard nosed defensive focused program with an offense that includes lots of motion. I can see myself making an impact through my defense, passing ability, and running the offense."

A senior staying in-state for college is Aidan Griess Aidan Griess Aidan Griess 6'4" | SG Hidden Valley | 2024 State OR . The 6-foot-4 wing was primed to have a big senior season at Hidden Valley this past season and things started off well as he was able to show off his ability to hit shots from the perimeter as well as finish at the rim. Unfortunately a mid-year injury shelved him for the season but Pacific stayed to their word with their recruitment of him and Griess responded with a commitment.

"Pacific offered me before my senior season after a couple of camps during the summer, they believed in me before my season even started, and even after injury they still wanted me still," Greiss said. "Their style of play really fits what I can do with their fast pace, and academically it's just a great school that will better my future."

Coming back home for school is Truman Teuber, who was a key member of the 2021-22 Summit squad that reached the 6A state title game. The 6-foot-1 combo guard moved on to play at Santa Barbara College the past two seasons, where he averaged 13.1 points and 3.2 rebounds while shooting over 44 percent from three-point range this past season. Teuber recently made the decision to commit to Willamette to continue his college career.

"I knew I wanted to be closer to home," Teuber said. "I built a great connection with Coach Lenahan and Coach Quintero over the phone, and then when I went on my visit I knew it was a great fit for me academically and athletically. It's a small school and your able to really connect with the professors. They are a great academic school and they are building a great basketball program that I want to help win a national championship."

Blessed to announce my commitment to Willamatte University. Thank you to all the coaches that recruited me and to all the people that got me here. Go bearcats! @JucoRecruiting @sterlingpjones @Playersplayca @jondfrazier @summithighhoops @ByBrianRathbone pic.x.com/Ysu0LLLDp9
