The Prep Hoops Indiana team was out in full force this weekend were able to see hundreds of talented prospects in the gym multiple times. Here are my standout players from The Stage.
When it comes to upperclassman guards at The Stage over the weekend, there was not a better one than EG10 2025’s Hudson Horvath Hudson Horvath 6’1″ | PG Park Tudor | 2025 State IN . I have seen him many times up to this point and will never not be impressed with his ability to dictate the pace of the game. So tough when attacking the lane and is never hesitant when getting a three off, which he often knocks down. Also provided elite pressure on the defensive side of the floor. Small schools need to be all over Horvath because he makes your team better.
The 6’4 wing out of Greenfield-Central is one of my standout players from the Stage because of how well he shot the three ball. While every player on KGE ’25 Williams plays with a high amount of energy, Stump came off the bench and gave them an extra jolt with his shot making. Scored in multiple areas behind the arc but the corner three is where he excels at. While he is on 6’4, I though he played solid post defense and showed active hands and caused a few steals as well. Was real impressed with Stump.

Brown is a long post/wing that plays with a lot of power. Thought he was really good about getting to the post spots well while being a willing rebounder. For his size, he has solid ball handles and even led the fast break from time-to-time. A under-the-radar forward down in Orleans that really caught my eye early at The Stage for DistinXion 2026 Red.
Highlights
JaShawn Ladd – Ben Davis – EG10 2026 – 6’5 – G: Ladd was one of the players that really impressed me on the Saturday portion of The Stage. Super athletic guard at around 6’5 that can really be a playmaker on the ball. Loved his ability to get in the lane and finish at the rim with a quick burst off the dribble. He is also a really good passer and just overall has some raw skill that you can work with. Will not be surprised to see him start to breakout here sooner than later.
Bless’ed Thomas – Pike – EG10 2027 – 5’10 – G: I have only seen Thomas a handful of time, but each time I get more and more locked onto his bandwagon. Was arguably the player I was most impressed with simply because he did everything you want you lead guard to do and did with so much confidence and maturity for his age. He got into the lane any time he wanted, was real shifty on the ball, applied pressure on defense, and hit three ball multiple times. This guys I going to end up being one pf the bigger stock-risers in the Indiana class of 2027.
