Gill played with an abundance of energy, passion and intensity. He was at his best when his back was against the wall showing an ability to overcome and adjust to adversity. He proved to be a dynamic scorer in one-on-one opportunities, cable of getting his shot off in many ways and various situations, showing a knack for stopping on a dime and elevating over defenders, making it difficult for them to contest his shot effectively. When Gill spotted an angle, he took it with no hesitation. Great footwork and use of his strides in traffic to get to the basket, often getting there in 1 or 2 dribbles from the perimeter. Strong crossover, changed directions swiftly, and shifted gears with precision.
Dezmond Thompson Dezmond Thompson 6’4″ | PF Wylie East | 2025 TX made his impact and presence felt on the glass as he controlled the board and went after every rebound he could with unwavering determination and tenacity on the boards getting first second down and third jumps to secure the ball. His long standing reach allowed to rip down boards over taller opponents and in a congested paint.
Highlights
Phenomenal shooter on and off the ball, but in the mid-range he was an assassin who scored in bunches while being contested. A true scoring threat from all three levels, proving to be capable of getting to his spots inside the arc. Very smooth game from reverse and inside hand finishes at the rim to his pull-up jumpshot. Eli Fegans Eli Fegans 6’4″ Little Elm | 2026 TX also came up big in the clutch getting to the basket, rebounding for putbacks, drawing shooting fouls, and knocking down the free throws, nailing two free throws in a row with 7 seconds remaining, sending the game into overtime where they finished the job.

Garrett Ingram displayed an uncanny shooting ability. Ingram didn’t have to dominate the ball to be effective, he was automatic in catch-and-shoot situations, proving to be a sniper from three-point range nailing 3 long range bombs in the first half against FTL. His shooting mechanics were textbook with a strong snappy wrist, high release point, and fluid motion leading to a consistent shooting stroke.
Rashad Maclin changed the game as a defensive anchor with a strong presence on the glass and a knack for contesting everything with tremendous effort. Remarkable instinct for timing his jumps and contesting shots, often swatting away attempts. Maclin’s physicality and toughness made him a nightmare for opposing team in the paint as he utilized his strength and positioning to box out and secure rebounds at a high rate.
