Here are a few of the players that I personally evaluated that I thought made the biggest noise in Grit Region Kickoff: Scotty B’s 15U Standouts!
Braylon Bilton (Northern Kentucky Legends 15U)
Bilton was outstanding for the Northern Kentucky Legends. Shooting guard that brings plus athleticism and can score from all three levels. Smooth attacking the basket and can score at the cup. Pushes off misses for coast to coast finishes.
Will Crowley (Tennessee Travelers 15U)
The Tennessee Travelers star is a crafty finisher around the hoop. The combo guard scored well in the lane with an array of nifty finishes. Kid can really score it and shot it well from beyond the arc.
Cam Lawson (Tennessee Travelers 15U)
Lawson caught our attention with his shot making from all over the floor. Hit corner threes, mid-range pull ups, and also was aggressive on slot cuts getting to the rack.
Jaedyn Litzlbauer (Indiana Bucket Boys 15U)
The Indiana Bucket Boys guard put on a show in their 77-76 victory on Sunday morning. The lefty point guard is a flat out bucket as he rained in three after three. South paw can really shoot it from deep along with scoring on slick takes and pass with flair!
Jarius Timberlake-Johnson (Team Robinson 15U)
In that same game it was Timberlake who put on a clinic with his scoring. Rangy combo guard that was absolutely lethal scoring from all three levels. Love the athleticism converting acrobatic finishes, draining mid-range jumpers, and hitting multiple threes. Big time scorer!
Keaton Robinson (Team Robinson 15U)
Loved watching this floor general for Team Robinson. Quick and shifty guard that plays with a ton of speed, changes gears, and gets out in the open floor. Excellent passer that makes others better and can also score in the paint despite his small stature.
Elijah Chinn (Evansville Finest 15U)
Another smaller guard that was impressive was Chinn. Strong and stocky guard from Indiana was lethal with his shooting hitting five from distance in the game we saw for 21 points. He pulls up and also drained them off the catch. Also mixed in some nifty layups and got on the glass from his guard spot.
Jonah Bartley (606 Elite 15U)
Bartley was part of a tremendous group of players for 606 Elite that played as a team and annihilated their opponent in the game we saw. Point guard that has a good passing feel, toughness, and can make shots from the perimeter. Solid all-around player.
CJ Kent (Midwest Pumas Wilson 15U)
Kent is an intriguing wing with that prospect look to him. He brings plus athleticism, transition scoring, good defense on the wing along with being able to block shots, and flashed as a mid-range shooter.
