Freeman continued his offensive assault with averages of over 20 points a game and a 3-1 mark on the weekend for the Wolfpack. In a Sunday morning win he was on fire from three. It wasn’t just pull up threes or shooting off of ball screens, the Purcell Dragon continues to be confident to get off the ball and relocate to open spots along the perimeter. And it’s more than just shooting that makes him a must watch prospect. He’s shifty and speedy with the ball in his hands, which combined with the gravity his range brings makes him one of the toughest covers in the state. He even showed some impressive hops for a smaller guard when he had a chase down block in transition, then went coast to coast for a score. Freeman is a “box office” player in Oklahoma, with a complete game and swagger that is reminiscent of past recent smaller guards who have had collegiate success, Ty Frierson and Adante Holiman.
Based on Sunday’s performance, Walker has been one of the more over looked prospects in Oklahoma’s Class of 2026. He opened the game stepping into and smoothly nailing a pull up triple. From there, he was all over the court with big time athleticism. He’s light on his feet, which allows him to get to his spots on the court. While also exploding for a transition slam finish and even some rim protection on defense. Along with dynamic slashing potential, the lefty is comfortable operating in the mid-range with jumpers. At times his passing was a bit wild, but being a willing passer is a good sign as he looks to be moving from a wing type prospect into more of a combo guard. Walker was one of the big surprises this weekend, as he has some athletic traits that can’t be taught. Which could help mature into one of the better scorers in a loaded Class of 2026 in Oklahoma.
Highlights
Dow is a 2026 prospect who’s game is coming in promising flashes right now. Will still gangly at times, there’s these moments of movement that show what he could become. He has good lift for his size when finishing around the rim, and has flashes of covering lots of ground on both ends of the court. One thing that is already there is a good defensive IQ and a grittiness that most often manifests in taking charges. If this strong foundation of the little things are a precursor of what’s to come, look for the BA Tiger to potentially be a late bloomer. Somewhat similar to his older brother, Connor who made a late leap in his development and is now at Oklahoma State.
Daniel was a versatile weapon for his West Alabama squad. In both contests watched, he knocked down multiple three pointers as a consistent catch and shoot threat. While his broad shoulders and long arms also makes him a productive player around the rim. He looks like a perfect fit for modern, floor spacing basketball. While he’s listed as a two guard, he’s not allergic to the dirty work, and can easily play down a position or two in lineups that value speed and floor spacing. The 2025 prospect passes the eye test, and this weekend had the production to match.
The second Broken Arrow Tiger on this list, Talley is a pogo stick type forward prospect. In a Saturday contest, he was all over the rim on both ends of the court. From tipping in and securing rebounds, to altering shots he is a game changer around the basket. But it’s more that his just his verticality that makes him a defensive dynamo. He can move his feet well when switched onto guards, with great feel and timing to make life miserable for guards who are hunting switches. After playing a key role on the 6A semifinalist, the athletic 2025 forward is set for a huge summer that should see his offensive game continue to expand.
