<p>PH NorCal kicked off the Spring AAU Season in Oakland on Saturday at the Open Gym Premier where local club organizations put together the first Elite Spring Hoops Challenge for NorCal teams. There was plenty of competition with high level play including a couple of travel circuit teams. PH NorCal was there for the early Saturday, and afternoon games. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1572951' first='Ramir' last='Raymore'] 6'3 F/W, 2025, Dublin: Lakeshow Hickman 17<br>He's athletic, runs and jumps pretty well, with good speed running up and down the court both ways. He can defend multiple positions, and help get rebounds. His 3pt shooting is getting better, he's improving as a ball handler, and starting to get into the paint off the dribble. He'll finish above the rim in transition.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1953887' first='Fred' last='Blue'] 6'0 2026 PG, Capital Christian: Clutch Elite 16<br>He always seems to be under control as he maneuvers his way up top and around the court. He's a pass first point guard with a good set of skills, vision, handles, and passing. He can get into the paint for floaters and paint jumpers.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1703103' first='Mohamed' last='Kamara'] 6'5 2026 F/W, Capital Christian: Clutch Elite 16<br>He's a work in progress right now trying to expand his perimeter skills while still being a contributor on the court. At 6'5 he's got plenty of bounce to get rebounds, blocks and score in the paint. He hit the free throw and paint jumpers along with a couple of dribble drives into the paint. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1712318' first='Gio' last='Garduno Martin'] 6'2 2026 Guard, Half Moon Bay: Bay City 16<br>Only a Soph but has the experience of a seasoned player. He played in the State Finals a year ago. He's a do it all guard with a versatile skill set, reliable. He handles uses his body to protect the ball, passes and shoots the ball well. He can drop a big bucket when you need one. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1384453' first='Kamel' last='Johnson'] 6'2 2025 Guard, Cornerstone Christian: NorCal Preps 17<br>He's an athletic guard, run and jump, he plays hard with good movements without the ball, a slasher maybe. He's good in transition basketball. At 6'2 he's a high flyer looking for tip slams and openings on the dribble to go up high and throw one down.</p>

He'll come at you from different angles, half-court or using his quality handles, and moves in transition to go coast to coast. He'll drop deep 3's or pull up on the dime. </p>

He can be physical using his dribble drive, and body to get into the paint for layups, and buckets around the rim. He can work along the perimeter spotting up for 3ptrs when the shots there. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1572963' first='Damari' last='Combs'] 6'6 2026 Forward, Fairfield: Rampage 16<br>He's a shot blocker and a rebounder, at 6'7 with lengthy arms, he's a post area defender with a quick jump, and good timing. He flys out to close out on 3pt shooters, he distracted and blocked a couple. He's got work to do offensively, but will go up strong off two feet.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1573463' first='Tatum' last='Kurpinsky'] 6'6 2025 SG, Cardinal Newman: NBBA 17<br>He's an excellent 3pt shooter. He spots up in the corners, and up top with no hesitation already having his feet set with a quick release up top. He'll work off screens, he can drop one with a hand in his face, off the dribble, and another dribble to get close for the mid-range.</p>

He has a good overall package to generate points, using his dribble or working off ball. He's a tough minded competitor. He can drive it or drop jumpers, short and long.</p>
