In this article, we are going to highlight several prospects to keep an eye on that work as power forwards. Many of the prospects are versatile players that can play all over the floor over the next few seasons.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2376830' first='Truman' last='Wheeler']-Power Forward-Pea Ridge-6'6”</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2376830' first='Truman' last='Wheeler'] is a prospect at forward that can hurt opposing defenses in a variety of ways. He has no problem getting in the paint and finishing above the rim. Wheeler can step outside and drain the deep three-point shot with plenty of consistency. Meanwhile, he is an active defender on the defensive end of the floor. Wheeler does a nice job of keeping his hands active and forcing turnovers. He is a versatile player to watch out for over the next couple of seasons for Pea Ridge.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2385520' first='Baron' last='Hoyt']-Power Forward-Fort Smith Southside-6'2”</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Fort Smith Southside forward is a versatile athlete on the hardwood as well as on the gridiron. Hoyt is a player that will battle in the post for points as well as rebounds. He does a nice job of absorbing the contact and finishing with points. Hoyt does a nice job of grabbing rebounds and being active on the defensive end of the floor. He can pressure opposing players into making mistakes with the basketball. Hoyt is a player to watch on both the hardwood as well as the gridiron.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2389960' first='Landon' last='Morton']-Power Forward-Bauxite-6'4”</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2389960' first='Landon' last='Morton'] hits the deep three-point jumper with plenty of consistency. Morton can hit from anywhere on the floor. He gets into the paint and finishes with points. Morton does a great job of moving without the basketball. He is a good defender and can force turnovers with his quick hands on the defensive end of the floor. Morton is a player to watch out for over the next couple of years for Bauxite.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2397908' first='Daylon' last='Thomas']-Power Forward-Maumelle-6'4”</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2397908' first='Daylon' last='Thomas'] is a prospect that does a nice job of handling the basketball. He passes the ball well and can find the open shooter from inside the paint. Thomas has a smooth jump shot and hits it from anywhere on the floor. Thomas can heat up quickly from the floor and he can light up an opposing defense. Thomas defends and rebounds the ball well. He is a player that can stuff the stat sheet on both ends of the floor. Thomas is a prospect to watch out for over the next couple of seasons for Maumelle.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
