April is over halfway done as the spring AAU season is in full swing. The 2025 class is looking to make its mark during their final AAU season, especially the unranked prospects. Here are the 2025 unranked prospects to watch this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1945618' first='Jayshon' last='Williams'], 6'6 PF Covenant College Prep

Williams was part of the 2024 class, but is doing a postgrad year at Covenant College Prep, which makes him eligible for this list. The 6'6 forward has a strong frame, which he uses to get position down low and can finish through contact. Williams elevates for dunks in the halfcourt and sets strong screens in the halfcourt. He rips down rebounds at both ends of the floor and uses his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end. Williams is a physical forward prospect whose ability to impact the game down low will help him out this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='2421322' first='Matt' last='Scerbo'], 6'2 SG Phillipsburg

Scerbo's collegiate future might lie on the gridiron, but he makes plays on the hardwood as well. The 6'2 guard attacks the basket strong as he finishes nicely around the rim and is unafraid of contact. Scerbo is more than just a slasher as he has a nice release on his jumper and rises up with confidence on his jumper. He can find his open teammates in the halfcourt and uses his length to get deflections on the defensive end. Scerbo is a talented guard prospect who should make plays at both ends of the floor throughout the spring and summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2421319' first='Zeyad' last='Elshazly'], 6'0 PG Spotswood

Elshazly had a solid junior campaign for the Chargers and is looking to carry that over into the spring. The 6'0 guard threads passes to teammates in the halfcourt and rarely gets sped up by on-ball pressure. Elshazly uses his handle to beat his defender off the bounce and finishes nicely around the basket. He can also score in the mid-range and is an underrated defender. Elshazly is a floor general whose ability to run the offense effectively will help his stock in a big way throughout the spring and summer.

Nick Petruzelli, 5'10 PG Hoboken

Petruzelli did a little bit of everything for the Redwings and is looking to bring that play over into the spring. The 5'10 guard has a good handle, which he uses to blow by his man off the dribble and can finish in a number of ways around the basket. Petruzelli has a nice touch on his floater and gets his teammates involved in the halfcourt. He is a strong rebounder for a guard his size and plays with good instincts on the defensive end. Petruzelli is a lead guard prospect to track this spring with his ability to run the offense and score the ball in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='2421362' first='Tommy' last='Gobel'], 6'7 PF Weehawken

Gobel has the potential to make noise this spring with his combination of size and skill. The 6'7 forward has a solid face-up game as he can put the ball on the floor and knock down jumpers on the perimeter. Gobel has a nice touch around the basket and is able to draw contact down low. He works hard for rebounds on both ends of the floor and influences shots around the basket. Gobel's ability to control the paint is something that will help his game over the next couple of weeks.
