Mill Valley’s Carter Kaifes Carter Kaifes 6'6" | PF Mill Valley | 2025 State #317 Nation KS stayed in the top spot, but Keaton Wagler Keaton Wagler 6'5" | CG Shawnee Mission Northwest | 2025 State KS (pictured) jumped into the second spot and may yet make a push for Number One. Wagler led Shawnee Mission Northwest to the 6A state title and won over a lot of fans in the process.
One of Wagler’s teammates, Tyler Salmon Tyler Salmon 6'7" | PF Shawnee Mission Northwest | 2025 State KS , was one of the highest new entries in this round of rankings. Leading the newcomers was small school ace Will Wegerer Will Wegerer 5'10" | CG Cunningham | 2025 State KS , fresh off his historic performance at state on behalf of Cunningham.
Junior season is a time for resorting the list. Some guys who previously gave us glimpses stepped fully into the spotlight as juniors. So this round of ranking saw some guys make major jumps – the 60 spots Junction City’s Jackson Austin Jackson Austin 6'1" | SG Junction City | 2025 State KS jumped is the biggest rise in recent memory. Also making big leaps were McPherson’s Gabe Pyle Gabe Pyle 6'5" | SF McPherson | 2025 State KS , Wichita Northwest’s Eli Benning Eli Benning 6'0" | PG Wichita Northwest | 2025 State KS and Rock Creek’s Coley Burgess Coley Burgess 6'0" | SG Rock Creek | 2025 State KS .
