Many great prospects worked hard and battled night-in and night-out, in-hopes off drawing interest and offers from coaches at the next level. With the 2023-24 season now behind us, let’s take a closer look at some of the local prospects who saw their stocks rise with consistent high-level play throughout their senior campaign.
Austin Arringdale-Klein
Austin Arringdale-Klein
The 6’5″ SF from Cape Coral had himself a tremendous senior year. Arringdale-Klein has great length and a strong knowledge of the game, and is able to guard multiple positions. He can score from all 3 levels, has an above-average mid-range game, and knocks down the 3-ball at a very high rate. He recorded multiple 20+ point games, including a season-high of 33, where he set a school-record for knocking down 9 three’s in a single game. Arringdale-Klein notched double-digit scoring in all but 4 games and finished the season averaging 15.7 ppg, 5.7 rpg, and 1.5 apg.
Riverasoto helped lead his Gulf Coast squad to a 14-11 overall record, and District runner-up. The 5’9″ PG is not only the true definition of a PG but also the true definition of a leader. He is a very smart player who is a proven floor general every time he steps on the court, and is willing to do whatever it takes to help his team win. He scored 20+ points multiple times this past season, including a season-high of 22 against Naples. Riverasoto has a tremendous outside game, where he shot 37% from behind-the-arc, and averaged 13.9 ppg, 3.7 rpg, and 2.2 apg in this his final season for the Sharks.
Highlights
Gabe Timmons
Gabe Timmons
Timmons made huge strides this season, and produced night-in and night-out for his Gateway Charter squad. The do-it-all guard is a tough, gutsy leader, who with his consistency and strong play towards the end of the year put his name right up there as one of, if not, the top player in the area. The 6’1″ PG puts up near triple-double numbers every game and helped lead his team to a 22-8 record and a trip to the Regional Finals. He averaged 11.3 ppg, 6.2 rpg, and 4 apg, and saved his best for last, where he was a man on a mission. He recorded 26 points and 7 rebounds in an opening round win over Bradenton Christian, before knocking off Tampa Catholic with a performance for the ages, where he finished with 31 pts and 7 rebounds, to go along with some huge plays down the stretch to clinch it.
Brennan Ingle
Brennan Ingle
A newcomer to North Port this past season, Ingle, stepped right in and became a huge asset for the Bobcats. The 6’3″ CG produced form start to finish with his new squad, and helped lead them to a 17-10 record and a District runner-up. Ingle is a tough, gritty player who gets it done on both ends of the court. He’s a physical player with good size and is able to guard multiple positions. He finished his senior year averaging 12.5 ppg, 4.7 rpg, and 1.7 apg, including multiple 20+ point games, and a season-high 24 points in a win over Venice.
Dominic Hodge

CSN’s senior leader had a tremendous season for his Seahawks. The 6’2″ CG is a floor general on the court and a great leader, who’s not afraid to put his body on the line and is willing to do whatever it takes to get the win. He’s great 2-way player who can get to the rim, but really excels at knocking them down from the outside, where he shoots the 3-ball at a very high rate. He scored a season-high 23 points twice on the season, recorded multiple 20+ point games, and finished the year with 322 total points, while averaging 12.4 ppg, 4 apg, 4.2 rpg, and 2.3 spg.
Konnor Vonhagen
Konnor Vonhagen
Vonhagen, a multi-sport athlete, really excelled on the court in his senior season. The 6’6″ SF did everything for his Riverdale squad. His size allowed him to guard multiple positions and he’s an offensive threat, who can score down low but also has a nice, soft touch on his jumper. He averaged 14.8 ppg and 12.6 rpg, and finished the season with 19 double-doubles. He not only had multiple 20+ point scoring games but also recorded 20 or more rebounds in multiple contests. Vonhagen scored a season-high 23 points in a win over Moore Haven, and totaled 369 points and 314 rebounds in this his final year as a Raider.
