Despite Bolingbrook jumping out to an early lead, Downers Grove North stormed back and went on several key runs to secure their second straight sectional championship.
Here’s some of my most notable individual performers from the contest.
Three-level scorer who found his touch early on. Had a pull-up jumper to start and hit a three falling down from the top of the key shortly after. Drilled a super deep 3-pointer late in the 2nd quarter got the crowd on their feet. Became more of a facilitator as the game went on. One he got guys involved, it was almost game-over. A deep three-pointer bounced in to close the third quarter. Ended with 23 points.

Strong footwork on the inside and made his presence felt on both ends. Grabbed tons of rebounds defensively and showed nice footwork on the offensive front. Had a big put-back bucket early in the 3rd quarter. A promising 2025 prospect for Downers Grove North.
Created plenty second-chance opportunities for the Trojans. Displayed impressive footwork on the low block and capping things off with a smooth touch at the rim. 10 points.
Did everything he could to keep Bolingbrook in this contest and led the Raiders with 16 points. Started off with a pair of inside scores and then extended his range for two 3-pointers at the top of the key. A big chase-down block defensively.
Highlights
Hit four triples in the contest and gave the Trojans a much-needed boost to win their second straight sectional championship. Scored 16 pts
