Williams showcased elite athleticism, displaying explosive speed and leaping prowess, easily throwing down multiple thunderous jams that left the backboard shaking. Williams drilled turnaround jumpers off the dribble in the mid-range with fluidity. He played with an active motor, pressuring the ball defensively, competing for 50/50 balls, rebounding, and going after steals in the passing lanes, making him the most dynamic player on the court.
Julian Barron Julian Barron 6’6″ | PF O’Connor | 2024 TX excelled as the focal point of the offense, proving to be a beast on the low block by using his frame to carve out space and punish defenders. With great hands and a soft touch, he showcased a consistent ability to be a finisher around the rim. Barron also came up big in the clutch, initiating contact and powering through to score, drawing numerous shooting fouls that resulted free throws where he was efficient as well. As the defensive anchor, he challenged everything that came inside, altering the trajectory of shots, even if he didn’t get a hand on the ball.
Tristyn White Tristyn White 6’2″ | SG O’Connor | 2025 TX showcased an aggressive style of play, showing relentless drives to the basket. His strong body control and polished finishing touch at the rim allowed him to absorb contact and score through defenders with finesse. White consistently made difficult layups look easy, utilizing scoop, up-and-unders, and crafty finger roll finishes to avoid shot blockers.
Hudson Greer Hudson Greer 6’7″ | SG Austin Lake Travis | 2025 State #50 Nation TX was an awesome playmaker, showcasing a high basketball IQ, the ability to read defenses, court vision, and passing skills as he threaded the needle with precision passes that set up his teammates for easy points. He also displayed an understanding of how to get open when tightly defended, often opting to screen, creating a mismatch to post up smaller guards where he could set up his automatic mid-range jumper. Greer’s footwork was impeccable, he stayed squared up at all times, maintaining excellent balance, able to stepback and create space against anyone, and utilized his pivots effectively.
Rashad Simpson Rashad Simpson 6’4″ | SG L.G. Pinkston | 2024 State TX was a dog on the court, playing with aggressiveness and determination on both ends. Whether attacking the basket and finishing with an acrobatic layup or defending the biggest player forcing them to catch the ball outside the lane, making them play from uncomfortable areas. As a scorer, he gets tremendous elevation when he leaves his feet on layups and jumpers, displaying impeccable body control and hang time. His nifty footwork coming downhill and in one-on-one situations allowed him to spin or hop-step his way to the paint or his pull-up spots in the mid-range. Simpson played with a great competitive nature.
