The top 6th-8th graders put on a show in Isle, IL. There were some familiar faces but also some new names that NEED to be on the radar as they continue to develop into promising athletes.
Below are some of the athletes that stood out throughout the camp.
Luke Beran Luke Beran 6'0" | PF Hill | 2030 IL | #210 | 2030
Has great size and strength for his age group that allowed him to score the ball in the paint at a high level. Luke showed great touch and finesse when looking to attack the basket. He also had his times of being streaky from distance hitting shots in succession from beyond the arc.
Dominic Eubanks Jr.| #62 | 2030
Proved to be able to stop on a dime and take off on defenders. He has a great touch around the basket when attacking. He’s able to create space and comfortably shoot from range. Eubanks, found his teammates in ideal spots on the floor and in the shooting pockets. He put others in position to attack and shoot with the best in his age bracket.
Damar Bell | #68 | 2030
Bell has a methodical game and showed patience and poise all camp long. He excelled in catch and shoot situations and was capable of attacking off the catch and making plays for himself and others. His court vision and ability to finish with floaters kept defenders guessing when defending him.
Justin Robinson Jr Justin Robinson Jr 5'5" Renaissance | 2029 WI | #39 | 2029
Robinson was highly aware on both ends of the floor. He was proactive in the passing lanes and proved to stay in front of his man on defense. On the offensive side of the floor he showed great court vision and the ability to pass teammates open. His willingness to push the break and put pressure on the basket allowed his team to score early and often.
Bennett Risler Bennett Risler 5'8" | PG Regis | 2029 WI | #43 | 2029
Risler showed his ability to space the floor at camp with his passing and shooting from range. He thrived in the half court with his movement off the ball and ability to shoot it off the catch. When ran off the line he was able to make plays and hit teammates in their shooting pocket. Most impressive was his shot selection throughout camp.
