The top 6th-8th graders put on a show in Isle, IL. There were some familiar faces but also some new names that NEED to be on the radar as they continue to develop into promising athletes.
Below are some of the athletes that stood out throughout the camp.
Anfernee Moore Anfernee Moore 6'2" | CG Peoria Christ Lutheran | 2028 IL | #155 |
Moore had great awareness on and off the ball. He moved well into space to get free from defenders, and had a high level understanding of when to pull up off the dribble. He maneuvered through gaps in the defense at a high level. He stood out as one of the most impactful offensive players in his age group.
Mason Wallace Mason Wallace 6'4" | PF Glacial Drumlin | 2028 WI | #208 |
Wallace, at times, was a matchup nightmare with his presence on the floor with his height and wingspan. He demanded the ball in moments and had a reckless will to score and finish through his opponents. He played a major role in protecting the rim and boarding the ball for his team on both ends of the floor.
Tyler Sale Tyler Sale 5'10" Caruso | 2028 IL | #150 |
Sale played with a pace and understanding that is beyond his years. His decision making playing off the catch was very solid. He was able to rip to the rim and use the glass all camp which had much to do with his awareness and rhythm for the game.
Ryder Fitzsimmons | #203 |
Fitzsimmons was the most well balanced prospect in his age group. He was a threat to score on all three levels of the floor. He was very aggressive in space with the ball in his hand, and proved to be crafty with pivots and fakes to make for easy buckets. HIs shot selection and willingness to play off two feet was also very impressive.
Jase Navis Jase Navis 6'3" Mauston | 2028 WI | #205 |
Navis was a jack of all trades all camp long. He had solid activity on the boards on both ends. He contributed by filling the lanes as well as leading the break in transition. His ability to use his length and handle caused problems for his opponents. Most impressive was his high motor, he took being the first one down the floor personally.
