The game for the 3A State Championship has some interesting matchups on paper plus a whole host of talented prospects on both sides. Scottsburg was considered the heavy favorite to represent the south when it comes to 3A and they lived up to the hype and did with the talented trio of [player_tooltip player_id='1547386' first='Wyatt' last='Zellers'], [player_tooltip player_id='1276470' first='Jack' last='Miller'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1401893' first='Kody' last='Clancy']. That big three averages a combined 48.6 points for the Warriors whole also having one of the best 'glue guys' in the state in senior forward Kaden Richardson. For SBSJ, it all starts with [player_tooltip player_id='1297002' first='Chase' last='Konieczny'] who brings in 20.7 ppg and is one of the best pure scores in the entire state. Senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='2379838' first='Jayce' last='Lee'] is also a major X-Factor for SBSJ, as well. This could be an uphill battle for SBSJ, but they have the talent to cut down the nets. Scottsburg, however, has been on a mission all season.
