In order to continue providing more and more platforms for prospects in our state to get recognized, we added a new event this spring that will serve as a springboard into the grassroots season. The first annual Indiana Spring Exposure Session was held at the brand new Farmers Bank Fieldhouse in Lebanon with nearly 50 prospects from around the state. Between having multiple college coaches working the event, media platforms taking in the action, and of course our Prep Hoops Indiana staff providing boots on the ground coverage the inaugural showcase was certainly a success.
Over the coming days our staff will provide an in-depth evaluation for every prospect that was in attendance. For now, let’s give some quick evaluations on the 2027 prospects from Sunday’s Prep Hoops Indiana Spring Exposure Session. Below is part two of the 2027 player evaluations.
One of the more exciting prospects that was in the gym on Sunday at the Prep Hoops Indiana Spring Exposure Session was Chase Devine Chase Devine 6’0″ | PG Bremen | 2027 IN , who just happens to be the leading scores among freshmen in the state. At 6’0, Devine is a taller guard that showed his ability to score in multiple ways especially with his smooth step-back jumper. Should continue to get better and better and still be one of the top, pure scoring guards in the state the next couple of years.
Highlights
Withers is a 5’10 guard that has quickness to his game. He had a couple of nice finishes and showed good touch on jumpers. Just needs to get stronger.
Hall is guard that is pretty right-hand dominant at this point in time. Does a good job at using his body to get to the rim and is aggressive about attacking the defense. just needs to work on finishing.
Davis is a short yet bigger built guard. Thought he was solid in the times I watched him but just needs to work on his speed and strength moving forward.
