Continue ReadingBen is a leader for his Warriors squad. A bold, energetic, and relentless combo guard. Shifty agility while dribbling downhill makes him hard to guard. Full speed and power on display when he drives the rim to looking to score right in your face makes him an intimidating slasher. He also looks to follow layups and shots with a quick rebound and put back which he succeeds at often. Nice at timing his jumps for second chance points. Good IQ for positioning himself in the right spots to grab long boards, as well. Off the dribble he can stop on a dime, then get off the ground for an accurate and deadly pull up jumper. Noonan has a nice high release point on his jumpshot, which he gets his legs under, this improves his range from deep. The Lamar combo guard is acrobatic and in control when attacking and scoring, nice athleticism with his speed and power and heads up playmaking leading and uplifting the play of others on the court.
Reddick is a bouncy, quick scoring guard. He looks to score in bunches from all 3 levels, the lefty is an absolutely precise shooter from 20 ft+. The kid can get up above the rim for sure and takes advantage of every chance to do so. Great hand eye coordination when finishing on put backs or alley-oop opportunities. On defense he uses that same athletic ability to make life tough for opposing players looking to score. Good at jumping using a little hang time and getting blocks or deflected passes after changing shots. His hustling effort and determination mixed with his long arms helps him secure some steals. Tommy is a standout senior guard looking to continue his play at the next level.
Highlights
LaBraun is a reliable, eccentric, point guard. A player who you can count on game after game to provide consistency. He can run your system with eagles eye court vision finding seams and firing passes off to create gaps in defenses. A big time shot maker, with shot IQ knowing when to pull it out and find teammates. A smooth guard who doesn’t mind squeezing inside to grab a bucket. He plays at a pace that defenders hate it’s not too fast where he makes a lot of mistakes and not slow enough to stop him or cut him off, very poised with the ball in his hands taking control of your offense. Christon’s most undervalued asset is his off-ball play, you don’t often find a PG who sets great off ball screens and understands cutting to space the floor the way he does.
Rowland is a pass-first, slashing point guard. An extremely unselfish player just trying to make others excel. He looks to open up the court with good ball movement early into the shot clock. He bursts out of triple threats with a rapid first step to leave defenders behind when he is looking to score. In transition his decision making skills elevate as he looks to rack up assists in order to get himself open. As soon as you think he’s passing the ball he goes right by you for a strong chance to finish from mid or in the paint. Typically a heady player, smart, and unselfish. Great point guard qualities for any team.
Drake Marbley
Drake Marbley
Drake is a tough, scrappy, floor general. He looks to get his offense in motion relying on on-ball defense and uses his smaller stature to get underneath dribblers and force turnovers to get ahead and push the break. Great at keeping the play alive and finding cutters and open shooters. Marbley uses nice floaters and runners inside and draws contact well by hanging in the air, trying to finish. The Patriot senior guard is a speedster who can score in multiple ways and create turnovers.
