Macon Emory Macon Emory 6'7" | SF Perkiomen School | 2024 State PA | 6’8 W 2024 Perkiomen
The Panthers were at a disadvantage in terms of height. So his work in and around the paint was essential. The soon-to-be Delaware Blue Hen extended around and over out-stretched Lions arms to score at the rim. Emory hit a three to total 14 points, plus 5 rebounds. But what didn’t show up in the box score was his defense. As a helper, he hedged ball-screens, cutoff driving lanes, and walled up inside to force Phelps into tougher shots.
Onyx Nnani Onyx Nnani 6'8" | PF Phelps School | 2025 State PA | 6’9 F 2025 Phelps
With the defense locked in on Riley and him missing most of the third quarter, somebody had to step up. Opportunity knocked so Nnani answered. He capitalized on his physical or athletic advantages when he had mismatches and attacked the seams of the defense for 18 points. Nnani was extremely impactful on the boards too, pulling down a game-high 13 rebounds.
Will Riley Will Riley 6'7" | SF Phelps School | 2025 State #29 Nation PA | 6’8 W 2025 Phelps
All eyes were on Riley. As soon as he used a ball-screen or stepped below the three-point arc, he saw no less than two extra bodies flying towards him. And he still dropped 18 points. His catch-and-shoot three was the only bucket he didn’t create for himself. The jumbo initiator was elusive off-the-bounce. After he beat his primary defender, he used his agility to evade the help and/or his touch to kiss the ball off the glass.
Gabe Tanner | 6’3 G 2024 Perkiomen
After missing all of the other PAISAA playoff games, Tanner returned to provide some juice off the bench. His 4 points in the first half was just a warmup. He then went off for 15 points in the second half. The versatile combo guard mainly did it with his pull-up jumper. Showing no fear or sign of a lingering injury, Tanner popped three treys and a deuce off-the-dribble. He also tallied 3 rebounds and 3 assists to go along with his game-high 19 points.
Alex Zakheim Alex Zakheim 6'1" | CG Perkiomen School | 2024 State PA | 6’1 G 2024 Perkiomen
The initiator and beneficiary of Perkiomen’s unselfish ball-movement, Zakheim didn’t let his gifts go to waste. He let the chopper sign, drilling four threes off-the-catch. After going up two at the end of the first quarter, Zakheim dropped 13 of Perk’s 20 points in the second to push their lead to six before halftime. And just as the Lions tried to go on a run in the fourth, he hit another triple. The high-academic point guard scored 18 points in total.
