Continue ReadingHigh motor, heady plays, timely shots, and the ability to defend multiple positions summarizes Harrison’s value on the court. A complete 3 level player with passing vision and ability. He plays well off ball doing the small things that really matter such as the off ball screens, back door cuts, sealing defenders for guards, and spacing. Picket displayed these skills all season long, in some of the biggest moments he stepped up alongside teammates to propel this team. Leading games in scoring on a team led by a national top 45 player is not an easy feat but something he was able to do a bunch. Harrison had 21 points, 7 rebounds, and a block in the 5A State Championship Game. All State and All Conference awards were given for his play in the season. The stock is only rising from here for Harrison heading into an action packed summer.

Israel brings an imposing, solid, brawny build with some core strength and a burst of quickness that makes him a tough match up. His ability to rebound the ball is tremendous due to him clearing opposing players out of the ball path with great box out form. A double-double threat nightly with the success he has at timing his second jumps and securing boards. Focused and poised on put backs, getting the ball up high through contact and a touch to score in bunches around the rim. A paint beast of sorts, with his skillset of agile lateral movement, athletic jumping ability, and brute strength. The junior is coming off a Conference Championship 20+ win season, being named 5A West player of the year and being selected All State. Towns-Robinson is geared up for a big stock jump after putting up 16 points and 12 rebounds a game in his junior season.
Zane is known for playing with a chip on his shoulder, just pure self determination to be better and go harder something that should not be undervalued. A very well coached, productive, offensive player who can shoot the ball at a high rate and makes difficult decisions look easy. High IQ with the ability to read in between defense and score. A selfless player who can definitely go score 30+ as he has done but will also give you 15 points while sharing the load and making the correct plays to put his team in a spot to win the game. A real glue guy who brings a good variety of value in multiple ways. Zane is going to be in prime position to step up next season and lead the squad as far as they can go as a senior. Keep Pennington on your radar throughout the summer as his value increases.
Jayce is a well-rounded combo guard with all around scoring capabilities. He shoots the mid-range just as well as he shoots the three ball, although he shoots more 3s than 2s when given the chance. He is faster with the ball than without it, at times. Strong ball handling gives him access to work his way in the lane for buckets fighting thru collisions to get up strong shots. Good court vision allows him to drop off to bigs when he draws 2 or more defenders. Tillman can dribble under pressure in press situations and push the pace in open court. He will throw it down for dunk if given the space, which catches defenders off guard often. Pulling off an upset in the first round of playoffs he put up 19 points to move onto the quarterfinals. Stay with Tillman through the summer as he looks to lift his stock.
Jayvn Williams
Jayvn Williams
Jayvn is a tough sharpshooter with quick active hands. He can flare up quick from behind the arc, he plays best shooting off pick and roll sets where he is the primary ball handler. Quick ball movement and attentiveness reading defenders allows him to get his own shot or swing it to help create for others. On defense he slides his feet well and does not commit a ton of fouls, he is not one to get bullied down to the paint, as he stands his grounds and contest shots with effort. Quick hands in the passing lanes leads to deflections and steals resulting in easy fast break points. With his proficient play he was selected 6A West All State and All Conference, Williams is primed to have a breakout season with a deep Bentonville team ready to run it back next season.
