Josiah made his debut in the final '24 rankings as the #16 ranked player in his class. He led his team to the 5A State Championship. He is a gritty guard who is a relentless competitor and made play after play in the playoffs to keep his team moving toward their goal. He scores from all levels and is a tough shot-maker off the bounce. He's comfortable using floaters and runners and has a nice touch. He will have to continue to get stronger and work on his handles as he seeks to find his way to the next level.

Terrel made his debut in the final '24 rankings as the #28 ranked player in his class. The final four was my first time seeing Terrel play, and I must say I was very impressed with his ability to score the rock. He played on and off the ball and showed some versatility, especially with his squad not having a lot of size. He has an impressive scoring repertoire and can put the ball in the basket at all 3 levels. He made some tough shots during the final four when creating offense for himself. He put constant pressure on defenders, as there was really no one who could contain him. As he eyes the next level, there will be no question regarding his scoring prowess, but he will have to show his ability to create opportunities for his teammates.

Jalen made his debut in the final '24 rankings as the #30 ranked player in his class. As it is with many players who find themselves at the ranking they are at, there is a case for the player to be ranked higher or lower. For Jalen, who led his team to back-to-back appearances in the state championship game, a case is definitely there to be ranked higher. He has good positional size and is very explosive off the floor. He is a two-way talent who impacts both ends of the floor. Every time I have seen Jalen the past two years, he has provided outstanding production. As he looks to the next level, he will have to continue to hone his perimeter skills.

Reid made his debut in the final '24 rankings as the #31 ranked player in his class. I had a lot of people before the season started last year reaching out to me about Reid and how good he was and how he would lead Trussville to the Final Four. His squad did not make it to the final four, but Reid did live up to the talk surrounding him. He is a physically imposing player in the paint with his length. There weren't many players who could match his size in the state, so there were nights he got whatever he wanted. Defensively, he showed his ability to be a rim protector, putting doubt in potential slashers who desired to get to the cup. One thing I liked about Reid when I was able to watch him was he played to his strengths.

Levente made his debut in the final '24 rankings as the #32 ranked player in his class. He led his squad to one of the best seasons Carver has had in decades. I saw Levente play several times, and both times, there were college coaches in attendance looking at him compete. He is a very athletic and explosive talent who scored well off the bounce. He is a downhill attacking wing who attacks the rim with complete abandonment and will look to posterize defenders willing to take a chance and jump. He needs to continue to work on some perimeter skills, mainly shooting and ball-handling, as he looks to the next level.

Marchello made his debut in the final '24 rankings as the #52 ranked player in his class. He was a solid piece to Paul Bryant's squad and provided scoring when teams tried to take away their top options. He is a multi-level scorer who was comfortable as a playmaker for his team. He plays unselfishly and has very good floor vision, passing skills, and court awareness, as you'd expect from a taller guard. He showed potential and could find his way to the next level.
