I viewed mainly 17U mixed in with some 16U or teams playing up in 16U. I ended up watching exactly 20 teams locally.
My All-Tournament Teams are based on the one game I viewed the team. These are NOT prospect rankings.
Cristian Acevedo Cristian Acevedo 6'7" | PF Apollo | 2025 State AZ Apollo (Peak Platinum 17)
A highly skilled power forward can shoot it from mid-range and out to the three. He rebounds well with sticky hands to catch tough passes and will rebound with two hands. His IQ, skill and feel are high. His stock has risen every year and is coming into his own.
Ben Lambe Ben Lambe 6'4" | PF Pusch Ridge | 2026 State AZ Pusch Ridge (Apex Athletix 16)
A power forward who has improved since my last viewing. He is an efficient scorer in the paint and will rebound and score on put backs plus step out and shoot the three. He can rip thru and go to work with a nice combination of power and finesse.
Christian Holly Christian Holly 6'1" | SG Phhoenix Prep | 2025 State AZ Phhoenix Prep (Peak Platinum 17)
A hyper athletic scoring guard can rattle in triples off the catch. His catch and shoot three is his game but he is terrific in transition and will dunk it way above the rim with his explosive hops. He plays good on-ball defense and is wired to score with his high level pull-ups.
Brandon Stapleton Brandon Stapleton 6'4" | CG Chandler | 2026 State AZ Chandler (AZ Gremlins Gray 16) (Pictured)
A bigger combo guard is a lefty shooter with good size. He is versatile to defend inside and on the perimeter. He rebounds well with his size and can throw it down on the break with either hand. He can find teammates with an unselfish attitude and get to the rim.
Jayden Hughes Jayden Hughes 6'5" | CG Brophy Prep | 2026 State AZ Brophy Prep (AND1 17)
A long combo guard looks like he grew two to three inches. He is a long strider and can hesitate to get downhill. He can post and has good vision down the court. He will finger roll it in with his long arms and he is a quick second jumper. He can hit the three off the catch and is just scratching the surface.
Adam Hubbard Adam Hubbard 6'4" | CG Canyon View | 2025 State AZ Canyon View ( Team Rise N Grind 17)
A gifted combo guard can score it from all levels. He has step back jumpers from mid-range. He handles pressure well and makes smart reads to his teammates. He has deep range and can get to the basket. His length and size for position bothers his opponents on defense. He keeps trending up.
Prince Sohn Prince Sohn 6'0" | CG South Pointe | 2024 AZ South Pointe (AZ Legacy 17 Elite)
A scoring combo guard is a very fast and shifty ball handler. He can get to the basket well with his yo-yo handle. His first step is electric and he can make the open three off the catch. He is a sneaky good passer in traffic and he can throw it down on the break. Once he improves his pace to his game and slows down a little, he will be even more effective.
Camren Houser Camren Houser 6'1" | SG Sequoia Pathfinder | 2024 State AZ Sequoia Pathfinder (Team Build Legacy 17)
A defensive guard will sit down and keep his opponents in front of him. He will get downhill, post up with his thicker frame and power and advanced footwork and shoot it from the perimeter with threes and mid range J’s.
