Standouts
Desire often times looked like the best player on the floor and when you do not bump him early as he runs the floor he gets easy rim runs and he makes quick work of that. He is a D1 prospect and he made sure of that in early play this past weekend. Could see him eventually get to the MM level for sure.
Highlights
The speed that they play with is not only fast but there is so much control and this is perfect for Carlo who can be on the ball and push the tempo, but off the ball he can fill the lanes and really impact the game with his shooting and that shifty handle. He relocates really well and he was just on display, especially how quickly they came out of the gate against Salt Lake Rebels . He is good at ready the defense and putting the ball right on the money.
Fosita has a unique skill set and when he is able to play with a team that can spread the floor and move it around he can be very effective. You can see his athleticism on defense as he can defend multiple players out there on the floor and he has great timing to contest those shots in the paint and he is one of the best grab and go guards. On made shots he can still get up and push it and create a fast break opportunity.
Highlights
Alan is currently at #9 in the rankings and e absolutely has room to move up. He is a back to the basket talent that was showing off his soft touch. The thing that is impressive is when he digs his heels in to position and he makes a quick move and that is because he is so big and strong that the defender is simply trying to hold their ground and they can’t get up and elevate with him. Soft touch and more athletic than you might think.
Highlights
Dastrup was big time this weekend and his ability to scan the floor and look for players is something that is underrated in his game. He shoots the ball and he has great tempo. This Utah Valley Prime squad is nice and you can only expect them to get better through the weeks.
