Class 1A
Bryant Kennamer Bryant Kennamer 5'6" | PG Skyline | 2024 State AL (5’6/PG/’24/Skyline HS)
Bryant is a small lead guard who is extremely heady and has a good feel for the game. He has good vision and is crafty with the rock. He showed a quick first step that helped him get an advantage on his defender, and he did a good job getting to the rim and in the paint as quickly as he could, where he made several high-end decisions with the rock in his hands. He does a good job getting his teammates involved, and his maturity as a floor general was seen on the biggest stage of the year despite struggling with his own scoring production.
He finished with the following stat line in his team’s semifinal game: 9pts (2-11 [0-5 3-ptr]), 6rebs, 7assist
Class 2A
Levi White Levi White SF Locust Fork | 2025 State AL (6’5/F/’25/Locust Fork HS)

Levi is an athletic wing who can really get off the floor. For a minute, I thought he was about to create Lob City at the Final Four. He has good positional size and did a really good job finishing on the inside and through contact. His size, length, and athleticism helped him to be a major factor on the inside on both ends of the floor as well as on the glass.
He finished with the following stat line in his team’s semifinal game: 16pts (6-14), 8rebs.
Class 3A
Jaxon Colvin Jaxon Colvin 6'4" | SF Geraldine | 2024 State AL (6’4/F/’24/Geraldine HS)

Jaxon had an efficient night, scoring the rock even though his team could not pull out the victory. He has good positional size and a mature perimeter game as he balanced his ability to score and create for his teammates. He has a nice combination of skill, basketball IQ, size, and sneaky athleticism. He is a workhorse who can score off the bounce, stretch the floor, and knock down the trey ball.
He finished with the following stat line in his team’s semifinal game: 15pts (5-7 [2-3 3-ptr]), 8rebs.
Class 4A
Garrett Reid (6’1/CG/’26/Deshler HS)
IG: greid.2
X: @Garrett_reid_1
Garrett is a 2026 kid who did not shy away from the bright lights of the big stage. He is not afraid to take high-pressure shots, as he showed against ACA when he made several down the stretch, turning the momentum at times. He is a crafty scoring guard who utilizes his shot fakes extremely well and knows how to get to his spots on the floor. Garrett showed he can play on and off the ball, make shots, and play with a really advanced IQ. He has a lot of promise and is worth keeping an eye on.
He finished with the following stat line in his team’s semifinal game: 20pts (7-16 [3-8 3-ptr]).
Class 5A
CJ Scott CJ Scott 6'4" | PG Guntersville | 2025 AL (6’4/CG/’25/Guntersville HS)
IG: cj_scott8
CJ is a combo guard with good positional size who likes to get downhill and play in the paint. He is shifty with the rock as he has a very good hesi move and does a good job keeping defenders off balance. CJ is very savvy with a solid skill set and was very efficient against Vigor. He had some careless turnovers and will need to make sure he values the ball a little more, but those numbers shouldn’t be that alarming, as he is a solid facilitator, as he spent some time initiating the offense.
He finished with the following stat line in his team’s semifinal game: 11pts (5-6)
Class 6A
Ian Johnigan Ian Johnigan 6'0" | SG Helena | 2024 State AL (6’2/SG/’24/Helena HS)
IG: ian.johnigan
X: @IanJohnigan2024
For a very long time, Ian has been known as a C&S three-point shooter. He showed he could still get it done from behind the arc as he made a couple from deep. This was the first time I had seen Helena this year, and seeing that he has added to his game the ability to put it on the floor and get to his middle game was impressive. The added dimension not only boosted his stock but also gave Buckhorn problems throughout the game. Ian had a solid night when looking at his stats.
He finished with the following stat line in his team’s semifinal game: 12pts (5-8 [2-4 3-ptr])
Class 7A
Andrew Purcell Andrew Purcell 5'11" | PG Enterprise | 2025 State AL (5’11/PG/’25/Enterprise HS)
IG: purcell_andrew4
X: @purcell_4
Andrew is Enterprise’s floor general and is surrounded by shooters and athletic playmakers. He did a good job running the show for his squad in both games during the Final Four. His play and added scoring were huge in helping his team take down the Class 7A #1-ranked team Huntsville. Andrew has a solid floor game and plays with a good pace. With so many pieces returning and Andrew back in the driver’s seat again next year, look for Enterprise to make another deep playoff run.
He finished the following stat lines:
Semifinal: 10pts (3-6 [1-3 3-ptr])
Finals: 3pts (1-7 [0-4 3-ptr])
