This was Tucker's first appearance on the big stage, and you would not have known it with his level of play. He was ready for the moment and showed up for his squad as they took down the #1-ranked team in Class 7A. He has a good physical profile for a sophomore and definitely saw his stock rise on the biggest stage of the year. He shot the ball exceptionally well from the perimeter and made timely buckets to keep the momentum with his team going down the stretch. He is highly versatile on both ends of the floor due to his size, length, sneaky athleticism, instincts, and motor. He had to have a huge night scoring the rock for his team to win, and he showed up and delivered. He finished with the following stat line: 18pts (7-15 [4-10 3-ptr]).

Those who follow me probably already know what I am about to say, but here it goes: DeWayne was just too big for Central Phenix City. Central tried to throw some size and bulk at him, but he took advantage of his ability to step out, knock down the trey ball, and attack off the dribble. When he made his first trey, I said to myself, if he can make that a consistent part of his game, his stock is about to take another leap. It has become a given to see DeWayne finish with strength around the rim, and as he continues to develop as a scorer facing the basket and a guy who can stretch the floor with the trey ball, he will continue to be one of the most dominant players in the state. At the end of the day, Central just had no answer for the beast in the middle. He finished with the following stat line: 28pts (10-16 [2-2 3-ptr]) (6-10 FT). 8rebs.

Bryce has become known as a very effective 3&D guy, and he showed it in the re-match of last year's finals. He is a lengthy wing who can shoot it well from behind the arc but can be very streaky. He is a skilled athlete who can make highlighting plays at times, but he has become very comfortable with being a spot-up shooter. When looking at Bryce's game, his length and ability to score from deep make his upside so tempting for college coaches to take a chance on him. He was one of the best from distance on the day. He finishes with the following stat line: 9pts (3-8 [3-8 3-ptr]), 6rebs.

Seneca is a reliable PG for the Bucs. Even though he shares time with Jarret Fairley and [player_tooltip player_id='1398516' first='Salim' last='London'] at the position, he spends a lot of time facilitating and getting the ball into the hands of his playmakers and scorers. His play gets overshadowed by the Big 3, but he has developed the trust of his coaches as he has emerged as a steady floor general who values the ball. He has a 5 to 1 assist-to-turnover ratio on the season, and as you see in his play during the semi-final match-up, he is the guy who keeps everything flowing for the Bucs. He finished with the following stat line: 7pts (3-5 [0-1 3-ptr]), 4assist, 4steals

Jayden, in the big scheme of the game, is an undersized interior presence, but he can get away with it in Class 1A. From all signs, Jaden will be taking his talents to the gridiron at the next level, but until then, he is a physical player who makes life on the inside extremely difficult for opponents. He is extremely active on the glass, maneuvers well in the paint, and is a good finisher around the rim. His athleticism and quick leaping ability helped him rebound at a high rate, as seen in the championship contest. He finished with the following stat line: 6pts (2-5), 11rebs.

Jonah is an athletic, undersized interior player for Central, but when you look at Central's roster, they do not have a lot of size. Jonah does a good job holding down the inside as he battles on the defensive end of the floor, even though he is often physically over-matched by opponents. Offensively, because of his athleticism and ability to get off the floor, he scores it well in the paint and at the rim. His quick leaping ability was seen in the semi-final match-up as he was able to block several shots and alter numerous others. He finished with the following stat line: 3pts (1-2), 4rebs, 2blocks
