Limon
With a dominant win over 22-5 Sanford, Limon took the 2A state title in large part thanks to lead guard Jordan Rockwell. Efficient from all three levels, the guard was a particularly large problem for Sanford’s interior defenders. Going 10 of 10 from the free throw line, his handle and perimeter gravity made it tough for opponents to handle. Also going 3 of 4 beyond the arc, Rockwell was about as dependable as one could ask for a title game. Along with his shotmaking, he leveraged his gravity to set up teammates for open looks after drawing in help. Treyton Marx was particularly effective on the glass, grabbing 12 rebounds in his effort. His strong frame and height advantage at this level make him a dynamic two-way rebounder, constantly a threat on the glass.

Corey Hill Corey Hill 6'8" | C Cheyenne Wells | 2026 State CO lives up to expectations, a bruising forward who could be the top prospect in all of 1A through the next two seasons. Following a double double season, he does a great job getting into position for rebounds. Hill remains one of the best rebounders in the state, simply too physically overpowering at this 1A level. McClave had trouble finishing while he was the primary defender, easily bumping away opponents at the point of attack. Even while in the post he was dominant, putting in short right hand hooks above his defender.
