Here are 5 prospects who could benefit from a productive AAU season:
Savion Anderson, City University: During the 2023 season, the combo guard heard from West Texas A&M, Grambling, and Southern. Anderson is coming off a season averaging 17.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.0 steals, and 3.0 assists per game. He has good size, and has the ability to score at all three levels. Anderson will need to be productive from here on out so, the small talk from programs can turn into solid offers.
Keron Jackson Keron Jackson 6'6" | SF Houston | 2025 State TN , Houston: Jackson had enough moments in 2023 to show he’s more-than-capable of being a vital offensive weapon. For the next four months, Jackson will need sharpen his iron and display his inside and out game and realize that his scoring can come from other areas on the court than the 3-point line.
Jacob Walker Jacob Walker 5'10" | PG FACS | 2025 State TN , FACS: Walker is a TSSAA Division II-AA state champion. He averaged 19.8 points, 7.2 assists, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game for the Crusaders. He recently picked up his first offer from Radford. Walker is rolling with Hoop City 17U this spring and summer. He will have opportunities to show he’s an efficient collegiate point guard.
Kris Carroll, FACS: Carroll is one of the best shooters in the class. He has good size (6-5) to be on the perimeter. Carroll’s recruitment has been quiet. Like Walker, he’s going to play with Hoop City 17U. Carroll needs to cash in this spring and summer.
Damion Cox Jr., Memphis Central: Cox has been receiving interest from programs, with Memphis being the latest program to reach out. Cox will need to show balance as a point guard from scoring to facilitating to playing solid on-ball defense.
