The high school basketball season has officially come to a close in California which means our rankings for the senior class of 2024 have gone through its final update. Because of a recent update we did in December, there were only a handful of stock-risers in our latest update, but those three players made huge leaps and we tell you why below.

[player_tooltip player_id='1502812' first='Tony' last='Duckett'] | Carlsbad

Duckett went from No. 40 in December all the way into the Top 15 because of how he proved himself in deep postseason runs in the San Diego Section and State Regionals. The 6-foot-4 wing has a Division 1 frame and athleticism with a still blossoming offensive skill-set that could take off under the right guidance and development. Duckett uses his physical and athletic attributes to get to the rim and finish through contact but also defended all three perimeter positions. Duckett showed how efficient he could be as a jump shooter by shooting 38 percent from deep on 102 attempts.

[player_tooltip player_id='2305540' first='Jovan' last='Jester'] | Pasadena

Jester was another perimeter guy who went on a tear at the right time. The 6-foot-3 combo guard is a long, wiry and athletic prospect whose ability to create for himself off the bounce, and consistency as a mid-range jump shooter, make him an intriguing player at the next level. Jester has great feel for creating space and attacking angles which keeps defenders off-balance and allows him to get to his spots, elevate and score. Jester's strong performance at The Classic at Damien helped him jump from the 140's into the Top 35 at No. 34

[player_tooltip player_id='2102484' first='Tracy' last='Bryden'] | West Ranch

Because the lack of true size with skill was evident throughout the Southland this season, Bryden having both of those attributes really helped him jump off the page. The 6-foot-9 center had a combination of power and finesse to his game that made him an effective interior scorer both when he needed to be physical and when he needed to operate with touch and skill. Bryden, who recently committed to Division II Cal State San Marcos, rose from 73 to 35.
