Impressive young player that has been killing at the lower level. His shooting ability is something that will help West moving forward. West has some players that are building a good young core. Keep an eye on this one.
Highlights
McIntyre has been playing well and he is developing the proper skills to hit the ground running here moving forward at the varsity level now, possibly getting some more minutes but for sure next year.
It is always a challenge for young players to see time at the varsity level but Miller has proven he can play and he is not going to get pushed around. He shoots the ball well but his ability to put the ball on the floor. His game has been developing ata high level and next year even as a sophomore he is going to be a major piece in Layton’s success.
Openshaw has the height that is not teachable and he has pick and pop ability. He could be an impact player on a team that will play their young players that are ready. He could really turn the corner this Spring and Summer.
Highlights
Solid lead guard that can play off the ball and his shooting is what can allow him to play off the ball. Jackson will be running with Utah Hard Knox this Spring and Summer so expect him to have a lot of growth coming in his game.
Southwick is starting to really take his game to the next level. His ability to impact the game defensively off the ball as he is covering ground with his length and with that IQ has really helped him. He can get out and finish above the rim. He is just starting to get things going and he has been a big addition to Richfield.
