Lee's Summit West vs. Oak Park was the game of the week.

This was quite possibly the most anticipated game in all of Kansas City this year. The two teams did not disappoint. LSW won 50-47 on some late game heroics. Per usual, [player_tooltip player_id='1160824' first='Chaz' last='Watson'] led the way scoring 14 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. His resilience and tough minded mentality was key in the victory. [player_tooltip player_id='1260433' first='Bryce' last='Mitchell'] and star freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2334869' first='Cameron' last='Barnes'] added a spark in the frontcourt. Their size and combined 18 rebounds were much needed vs. a smaller Oak Park lineup. Barnes continues to show flashes of potential stardom and a national recruitment. Per usual it was [player_tooltip player_id='1419869' first='Corbin' last='Allen'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1422720' first='Caleb' last='Estes'] for Oak Park. They're one of the best duos in the state and play both ends. [player_tooltip player_id='1850444' first='Josh' last='Kori'] was a standout who showed flashes as well. The 2026 prospect continues to grow and threw down a big alley-oop. He's a potential stockriser in the class.

Chaminade goes into Vashon's house and wins.

Chaminade had a major confidence boosting win on Tuesday defeating Vashon. They showed resilience coming back from multiple deficits throughout the night. Their guards were excellent and played roles well. [player_tooltip player_id='1446576' first='Jonny' last='Jordan'] led all scorers and proved a lot on this night. Colin (Keller) and Collin (Perry) were two others who raised their stock in the game. Chaminade has found their footing offensively as of late. Vashon saw great production from their top two guards [player_tooltip player_id='1424400' first='Christian' last='Williams'] and Trey Williams. Each hit big shots during the 2nd half. Overall this was a statement win for the Red Devils. They needed a game like this one on their resume and it'll prove to be big as we enter the final stretch.

6th Man Shootout provided storylines.

This event was headlined by the matchup between St. Mary's and NMCC. [player_tooltip player_id='1160651' first='Jadis' last='Jones'], BJ Williamson, and [player_tooltip player_id='1422723' first='Zyree' last='Collins'] all put up video game stat lines. It was a tight contest throughout and NMCC ended up on top with a 5 point win. Principia sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1501486' first='Ben' last='Akoro'] was an individual standout of the day. He was clicking on all cylinders from the mid-range and was a playmaker with the ball. Eureka beat Cape Central in convincing fashion. The Wildcats are led by an inside-outside duo, [player_tooltip player_id='1430528' first='Mason' last='Dunlap'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1850534' first='Jaxson' last='Joggerst']. Dunlap was applying defensive pressure while Joggerst showed ability to stretch the floor in this one. They're a dangerous team who cannot be overlooked in Class 6.
