Devin Falk-Ramirez Devin Falk-Ramirez 6’0″ | PG Eastwood | 2025 TX has had more than a good week, he’s had a stellar junior season and an incredible past two weeks. That said, he finished off his regular season doing what he does best: winning games. Down by nine entering the fourth quarter against Pebble Hills at home, Falk-Ramirez outscored the Spartans by himself (11-to-7) to bring Eastwood back to win the game. He did just about everything from scoring and creating shots for his teammates as the Troopers pressed Pebble Hills into submission. Eastwood is undefeated at home, and it is in large part due to Falk-Ramirez.

The Eastlake senior did it again this week and what I mean by again is hitting another buzzer beating game winner. Granted, it wasn’t a 39-foot 3-pointer but a driving layup this time around. Vargas didn’t necessarily play his best game but that is what makes him special. If you need one play or one basket, he is the guy Eastlake has turned to and it has served them well.

This kid has been on as dominant of a run as any player in the city of El Paso. For starters, he is the only player from the class of 2026 to average a double-double. He gobbles up points and rebounds with relative ease and his level of physicality, which makes sense when you consider he is a two-sport athlete who plays on the defensive line for the Bowie football team. Over his last seven games he’s averaging 23.3 points per game which dovetails nicely with his team’s 12 game winning streak.

Canutillo is not a team lacking in scoring options, they are truly a team that scores by committee. In fact, they have six players averaging six or more points per game. Alex Jordan being one of them scored a season high 20 points in a razor thin 56-52 win over Burges. The Canutillo big man does the bulk of his work down low in the paint and being that Burges is a somewhat undersized team in terms of interior players, it’s no surprise Jordan had a season best scoring effort.
