Prep Hoops Indiana will have boots on the ground coverage of two great games this evening as @KylerStaley will be in the house for Mt. Vernon (Fortville) vs. New Palestine and @BRamseyKSR will be making the drip north for Kokomo vs. Anderson. However, as always, we will have eyes and ears in gyms all across the state and will bring you all of stats and scores from the night sometime early on Saturday morning. Let’s dive in and take a look at the best games to watch on Friday night.
Anderson @ Kokomo
It doesn’t get much better than big time Indiana High School Basketball between two North Central Conference rivals at Memorial Gymnasium. Prep Hoops Indiana Class 4A #1 Kokomo will put their 10 game winning streak on the line against 17-4 Anderson. Kansas signee Flory Bidunga Flory Bidunga 6'9" | C Kokomo | 2024 State #7 Nation IN is obviously the primary draw as the 6’9″ center averages 18.0 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 4.5 blocks per game. Fellow senior Karson Rogers Karson Rogers 6'6" | PF Kokomo | 2024 State IN has played himself into serious Indiana All-Star consideration as well averaging 18.2 points and 8.7 rebounds per game for the Wildkats. As for Anderson, junior guard Damien King Damien King 6'4" | SF Anderson | 2025 State IN is the leader averaging 23.7 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.
Evansville Bosse @ Evansville Harrison
This is the game to watch this evening down in the Pocket City. Evansville Harrison was upset by Reitz last weekend but bounced back with a blowout win over Owensboro (KY). Senior post player Malachi McNair Malachi McNair 6'6" | C Evansville Harrison | 2024 State IN has had an excellent season averaging 18.8 points and 10.7 rebounds per game while junior guard Shane Sims Shane Sims 6'3" | PG Evansville Harrison | 2025 State IN chips in 14.9 points and 5.8 assists per game. They are candidates for the Indiana All-Star and Indiana Junior All-Star teams respectively. The Warriors are 16-3 on the season. Bosse is a dangerous team at 11-9 having played a very strong schedule. Senior guard Taray Howell Taray Howell 5'8" | PG Evansville Bosse | 2024 State IN is one of the top scorers in the Class of 2024 and remains one of the best unsigned prospects in the state of Indiana.
Bishop Luers @ Fort Wayne North Side
For fans in the Fort Wayne area you’ll want to get to North Side High school to watch the Legends take on the Knights. North Side, led by seniors Jaxson Fugate Jaxson Fugate 6'5" | SF Fort Wayne North Side | 2024 State IN and Eugene Young Jr, is 13-7 on the season while Dereon Truesdale Dereon Truesdale 6'3" | SG Bishop Luers | 2025 State IN and Dreyln Truesdale pace Bishop Luers who ranked #6 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 2A poll. This should be a high-octane affair between two of the best teams in the city.
Bishop Noll @ East Chicago Central
Prep Hoops Indiana Class 3A #5 Bishop Noll will travel to take on East Chicago Central who is ranked #17 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Super Poll after rattling off 10 straight wins. The Cardinals are led by junior wing standout Dominique Murphy Jr Dominique Murphy Jr 6'5" | SG East Chicago Central | 2025 State #242 Nation IN who averages 21.0 points and 9.8 rebounds per game. Senior guard Jemeil Rich is having a great season too putting up 14.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game. Meanwhile, Bishop Noll features a balanced trio of seniors led by Caleb Parks Caleb Parks 6'2" | SG Bishop Noll | 2024 State IN who averages 16.4 points per game. Jaedin Reyna Jaedin Reyna 6'0" | PG Bishop Noll | 2024 State IN and Amauri Moore Amauri Moore 6'5" | PF Bishop Noll | 2024 State IN added 11.4 and 11.0 points per game respectively.
Cathedral @ Ben Davis
The greater Indianapolis area is busy with NBA All-Star Weekend, but there is also a Class 4A Top 10 battle over the on the city’s west side taking place this evening. Prep Hoops Indiana Class 4A #8 Ben Davis is riding a five game winning streak into this matchup with #10 Cathedral who has lost three of their last five games. Northwestern signee KJ Windham KJ Windham 6'2" Ben Davis | 2024 IN has been outstanding during the defending state champions recent run. On the the Fighting Irish’s sideline, they feature 6’8″ junior wing Brady Koehler Brady Koehler 6'9" | SF Cathedral | 2025 State #199 Nation IN along with sophomore wing Keaton Aldridge Jr Keaton Aldridge Jr 6'4" | SF Cathedral | 2026 State IN . This will be a very interesting game to follow this evening.
