Tavie Smith Tavie Smith 6'1" | PG Peoria Richwoods | 2024 State IL (Peoria Richwoods – 2024)
Smith only scored three points in Richwood’s win, but left his imprint on this one with his passing. Great at pushing the pace, finding his guys, and drawing defenders for easier opportunities for others. Also rebounded extremely well for a guard his size all night long.
DaQuan Little (Peoria Richwoods – 2024)
Little is coming on strong toward the end of his senior season. Athletic two guard that is a plus transition athlete and can knock down mid-range jumpers on the regular. He had 12 points.
Rini Harris Rini Harris 6'3" | SG O'Fallon | 2024 State IL (O’Fallon – 2024 – McKendree)
Harris recorded his career 1,000 point on Saturday against Vashon. The McKendree commit is a strong and athletic wing that loves to get out in transition for finishes, hit crisp mid-range jumpers, and make plays on the defensive end. In their Saturday contest he had 10 points.
Zane Schrange Zane Schrange 6'5" | PF Breese Central | 2024 State IL (Breese Central – 2024)
The Breese Central small forward is a tough kid with good strength and a solid overall skill set. Hit a pair of threes and crashed the offensive glass for 12 points.
Eoin Dillon Eoin Dillon 6'8" | C Peoria Notre Dame | 2024 State #294 Nation IL (Peoria Notre Dame – 2024 – Belmont)
The top 10 senior and Belmont commit is coming off an injury and didn’t start. When in the game he displayed flashes of what makes him such a good mid-major recruit as the power forward drained a pair of feathery twos including a sick step back along with a baseline two. Then he drained a deep three late in the contest. Finished with 8 points.
Nassir Binion Nassir Binion 6'4" | SG Vashon | 2024 State MO (Vashon, MO – 2024)
Binion is an athletic slashing two guard that gave the V a big spark in their win on Saturday. Super athletic getting to the cup and winning on strength line takes with burst. Acrobatic finisher around the cup. He had 11 points.
Gianni Cobb Gianni Cobb 6'0" | PG Homewood Flossmoor | 2024 State IL (Homewood Flossmoor – 2024)
Columbia commit is a super athletic lead guard that pushes in the open floor with tremendous speed. Cobb has such great body control at the rim being able to maneuver his body for tough finishes at the cup. Burst of speed every time he has the rock in his hand blowing past defenders. Finished with 13 points.
Derrick Rivers Derrick Rivers 6'0" | SG Cardinal Ritter | 2024 State MO (Cardinal Ritter – 2024)
Rivers had a workman like 14 points in his game against Thornton. The athletic scoring two guard knocked in a few jumpers, slashed to the rim for a sweeping layup, and drained a three.
Clayton Jackson Clayton Jackson 6'2" | PG Cardinal Ritter | 2024 State MO (Cardinal Ritter – 2024)
Jackson is the go to scorer for Ritter as the top 10 Missouri prospect can really score it in the open floor. Got out in transition for several buckets in the open floor and had a sweet mid-range jumper for 10 points.
Chase Abraham Chase Abraham 6'0" | SG Thornton | 2024 State IL (Thornton – 2024)
Abraham has been a breakout player this year for Thornton. He had a solid outing in their win in the finale notching 9 points recording all of his points via a trio of triples from deep.
JonAnthony Hall (Fishers, IN – 2025)
Big time athlete that jumped off the floor because of his physical tools on the wing. The 6’2” shooting guard excelled in transition, getting downhill, and is a capable shooter. Also a top football prospect as well. He had 12 points.
Treyton Eller Treyton Eller 6'3" | SG Bloomington Central Catholic | 2025 IL (Bloomington Central Catholic – 2025)
Eller got off to a slow start as he wasn’t super aggressive seeking his shot and when he did get good looks on floaters they just didn’t fall. What we like about Eller is his ability to knock down perimeter shots. Hit a couple of them in this one off the catch. Other impressive move was a spinning and-1 as he had 14 points in a loss to Columbia.
Brody Landgraf (Columbia – 2026)
This 6’5” sophomore post impressed with his inside/outside game. Started off early by draining a three. Then ran the floor for a transition layup. After that he used his strength inside for an array of scores including a reverse layup along with a seal on his way to 13 points.
Keshaun Manney (Bloomington Central Catholic – 2027)
Manney is a name to keep an eye on. The freshman 5’11” point guard is a super slick ball handler that can get to the rack with creativity off the bounce. Scored in the lane on several floaters and bank ins off the glass. Few turnovers, but there is a lot of intriguing tools to work with for this young lead guard from central Illinois.
