Here were the Freshmen and Sophomore Forward Standouts from the week

[player_tooltip player_id='1893708' first='Prince' last='Cash'] Carl Hayden

The star on Monday night belonged to Cash. He had a cool 30 points and scored from all three levels. He made contested layups in traffic, alley-oop dunks, rebounded the ball and took it coast to coast, catch threes and even off the dribble from mid-range. He also chased down rebounds for extra possessions. His size, length, improving skill and activity has him trending up.

[player_tooltip player_id='2249644' first='Zaire' last='Smith'] Phoenix Christian

An athletic power forward is a true downhill threat. He can rip thru to the basket or use a spin move to get the defenders off of him. He rebounds out of his area and flies on the break with grace.

[player_tooltip player_id='1746197' first='Malakhai' last='Moore-Neal'] Phoenix Christian (Pictured)

A hyper athletic wing forward is a terror on the break. He explodes up in a blink of an eye and has next level body control. He will block shots, rebound and has very good on-ball defense with his speed, length and quick twitch bounce.

[player_tooltip player_id='2345478' first='Mo' last='Watson'] North Canyon

A wing forward does many things well. The lefty has the floater game and is a phenomenal passer for position. He rebounds well with put backs, he can euro down the lane and will impressively split defenders and takes long strides to the basket or crow hop to score.

[player_tooltip player_id='2345479' first='Milton' last='Phinnessee'] North Canyon

A big man moves well from end to end. He can throw it down inside, score on layups with good hands to catch tough passes. His main weapon currently is his post defense to rebound and alters shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='2345483' first='Reid' last='Preston'] North Canyon

A face-up wing forward can rattle in threes off the catch. He loves the corners and can ball fake into a floater. He is a strong two-handed rebounder in his area and shows upside. He transferred over from Sandra Day O'Connor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2344225' first='Tremaine' last='Turner'] Dobson

A thicker framed undersized power forward is the clean up crew on the glass. He throws his girth around and uses his length and strength to corral the board. He scores inside with a decent touch and uses his long arms in the process.
