1st Round:
Belleville vs. Romulus
There’s a lot of really good guards in this game, but it could come down to Belleville’s star in the post Braylon Mannan. He’ll be a tough matchup.
Prediction: Belleville
Semifinals:
Ypsilanti Lincoln vs. Ypsilanti
Lincoln has taken a lot of people by surprise on their way to an excellent regular season. They were in the conference title race basically the entire season.
Prediction: Ypsilanti Lincoln

Belleville vs. Saline
This could be an instant classic with matchups like the previously mentioned Mannan and Saline’s Lincoln Keyes Lincoln Keyes 6'5" | PF Saline | 2026 State MI .
Prediction: Saline
Championship:
Ypsilanti Lincoln vs. Saline
They split the regular season matchups, with Lincoln grabbing the most recent game. If Lincoln can match their second half defensive prowess from the last Saline game, they can come home with the title. If Saline can take care of the ball and win on the glass, they hoist the trophy.
Prediction: Saline
Players To Watch:
Jenkins is a next level guard that has the offers to prove it. His a fast footed lead guard that can control the pace and plays with a high basketball IQ. Jenkins is more than talented enough to lead Belleville on an impressive playoff run.
Myles is an exciting player that could make a ton of noise in this district. In fact, I’d say he gives Romulus a chance at coming out on top. Myles is a multilevel scorer and one of the better 2 way players in the district.
Dante Wimberly
Dante Wimberly
Wimberly has had a breakout season of sorts for Lincoln this year. When he’s in his groove, the team plays better. Wimberly is a smooth athlete that can make plays with the ball. If he brings defensive energy and facilitates like he can, this team will be tough to beat.
Tooson is a player that grabbed my attention this year. He plays with a lot of energy on both ends of the floor and get be a momentum grabber for Ypsilanti. Tooson is fearless with the ball and can groove his jumper.
Highlights
Sanderson has been nothing but storybook this season. In 1 week he had 2 games over 40 points, one of which won his team it’s first SEC championship in so long that nobody really knew when the last one was. The second game that week he hit a volleyball line 3 pointer to win it. It’s starting to take a team of destiny type of feel.
