Derek Rockett Derek Rockett 6'0" | CG Higbee | 2024 State MO (Higbee): The 6’0 2024 guard was the star of the evening as he scored a career high 44 points in the Tigers win over Hale. He was getting buckets at all three levels throughout the game. With the game still in the balance in the fourth quarter, he simply took over with one bucket after another as he lived in the lane.
Tristen Crose (Hale): The 2024 guard scored a team high 27 points as he kept his team close against Higbee in the semifinals. He was lighting it up from 3-point range as he hit six triples. He hit three in a row to open the second half to get his team really going.
Jaxon Hudson (Higbee): A 6’3 2024 forward who was tough around the basket as a scorer and rebounder. The lefty could also drive it effectively from the high post. He also had a defensive presence with his shot blocking and good positioning.
Julius Johnson (Brunswick): A 2024 forward who provided a tremendous spark off the bench in Brunswick’s victory over Braymer. He was a force in the paint with his strength as his powered his way to buckets and offensive rebounds. He scored the game winner on an offensive rebound in the closing seconds of the game.
Jordan Haley (Braymer): A thick bodied 6’1 2025 guard who had his mid range jumper on point. He used his strength to overpower smaller guards. He was able to get to his spots on the floor and he did a good job of creating separation for his step back jumper.
Gage Heussner (Hale): A 5’10 2025 point guard who has an uncanny knack of scoring in the paint area. The young lefty is fearless on the drive and he uses the pump fake well in the lane. He can weave through pressure defense and also hit an open 3-pointer.
Tae Brown (Brunswick): A 5’9 2026 point guard who has excellent speed and quickness. He distributes the ball well and he also plays well off the ball. He hit the multiple 3-pointers in the semifinals against Braymer.
Tyzn Crackenberger (Hale): A 6’2 2025 guard who has mastered the art of slashing to the basket and swooping in for layups with either hand. He covers a lot of ground with his long, loping strides. He can also switch hands in mid air.
Danny Janssen (Higbee): A 2026 guard with good size and the ability to open up the floor with his perimeter shooting. He hit a pair of 3-pointers in the semifinals. That was after hitting eight triples in the first you.
