In the PSAL, there is still a lot of unsigned talent in the front court. Ranging from league leading rebounders, to inside and outside threats. Here are a few of the big men, you need to have your eye on when the City Title playoffs start.

Tristan Burth Tristan Burth 6'5" | PF Stevenson | 2025 State NY
Tristan Burth Tristan Burth 6’5″ | PF Stevenson | 2025 State NY averaged a double-double during the season with 14.0 points and 13.9 rebounds. At his size, Burth is a lot to handle on the glass and uses his body well to seal defenders. In every game we watched this season, Burth showed a new post move we didn’t see previously. And his coaches will agree he has the work ethic to excel on the next level. At 6’8″, Burth is a big, long body that could be an anchor for a college defense.
Tyler Edore is a big body that also plays the game with a high IQ. In the PSAL, Edore finished Top 5 in rebounds per game and total rebounds. While also, leading a strong Brooklyn Collegiate team in scoring. As Edore continues to improve as a 3-point shooter, his game will reach greater heights. For now, the big man is a lot to handle in the midrange to low block area. And the threat of his outside shot, is enough to keep a defense off balance. At the next level, Edore’s good footwork and hands will help him compete immediately.
Josiah Salmon
Josiah Salmon
Josiah Salmon is an athletic small forward type who can play above the rim. Because of this, Salmon is always a threat on the glass. Using his long arms and leaping ability to stretch over or around defenders. With the ball in his hands, Salmon has a nice first step that can catch defenses off guard. For John Bowne, Salmon averaged 12 points and 9 rebounds for the season. We can see Salmon guarding wings and bigger forwards in college, as he continues to get faster and stronger.
Joel Ofori
Joel Ofori
Joel Ofori has been a handful for bigs in the PSAL the entire season. Standing at 6’7”, Ofori is an excellent rebounder and defender. By the end of the season, Ofori averaged 12 points and an astounding 19 rebounds a game. And this helped Ofori, lead the entire PSAL in total rebounds. Because of his long arms and strength, Ofori will be able to replicate his senior performance in college.
Mekhi Jackson
Mekhi Jackson
Mekhi Jackson is relentless in the middle of the paint. One of the leading rebounders in the PSAL, Jackson works hard on the glass. As a midrange shooter, Jackson is strong around the foul line area. But his strength and quickness make it hard for defenses to keep him from getting to the rim. Because of his relentless attitude on the court, Jackson will match bigger forwards in college. And with experience, there’s no reason why Jackson couldn’t continue to anchor a paint and collect rebounds at the next level.
Toribola Babs-Ogundeji
Toribola Babs-Ogundeji
Toribola Babs-Ogundeji took a huge leap this season as a scorer and facilitator. Last season, Ogundeji would look for catch and shoot opportunities. Or, hustle for a rebound and get the put back bucket. But all season, Ogundeji created shots for himself and others. Using his quickness and length, Ogundeji is able to get to the rim and finish through contact. With 12 points 13 rebounds and 4 assists on the season, Ogundeji is a hardworker and will only get better.
All of these bigs are hard workers and have had good attitudes on the court when we’ve watched. In their senior years, a championship would be a perfect sendoff, so you can expect to get the best from each of them.
