A good all around athlete on the court. He’s aggressive driving the ball to the basket, handling contact. He handles and passes around the perimeter, makes good post entry passes, and helps rebound. He makes a good effort to fill lanes in transition. He can hit open jumpers from mid-range, and will take 3’s spotting up in the corners. He’s a key contributor averaging 13pts a game on a team with a record of 19-2 overall, 9-1 in league play.
He’s a long wing type player with speed on the defensive side hounding ball handlers up the court, and making it difficult to get by him along the perimeter, he’s hard to get by when he’s locked in on defense. He sprints the court in transition, taking it hard and fast to the rim for the points he gets. He has lengthy arms and a quick jump to help rebound.
He’s an alert prospect looking to capitalize on a mistake. He’s a good passer, moving the ball around the perimeter, he’ll make the long pass up in transition. He moves well along the perimeter using hard cuts to get open for shots he can make. He has the range to knock down 3’s spotting up, and coming down in transition. He gives good effort defending with good weak side help.
He’s a solid body prospect that plays multiple positions on his team, averaging 12pts a game. He uses his body inside to score against taller players. He has a good dribble to attack defenders from the perimeter getting into the paint for jumpers. He takes it hard to the basket in transition. He’s had some success knocking down 3’s in the corners. He makes his free throws.
He usually comes off the bench looking to put up jump shots. He’s a solid body, standing around 6’4, moves well around the perimeter, he likes to spot up in the corners for 3’s. He has good balance when he uses the step back from behind the 3-point line along the perimeter. He has range, not much hesitation putting up shots on the catch and shoot. He’s on the raw side, a bit streaky, but shows he can hit the 3ptr. He’ll mix it up inside defending, and working for rebounds.
He’s a fast moving guard with a good dribble and a solid body, averaging about 12pts a game. He likes getting out in the open court using his speed and strength to attack defenders. He gets into the paint from different angles, often challenging defenders to block his shot, he can handle the physical contact. He delivered a couple of nice bounce passes for assists. He has good hops going up to finish at the rim.
Wallace is a quick guard, good handles, with a first step that’ll get him by most defenders, he has speed going across the lane. He uses his speed to get into the paint for jumpers, he has the quick stop off the dribble to pull-up for mid-range jumpers. When he’s got it going he’ll drop a 3 from the corner and in transition. The game we saw he was a spark off the bench playing on ball defense with lots of energy.
He’s good on the catch and shoot 3 from the corners, he’ll use a dribble and side step if a defender runs him off the line, he uses the ball fake to his advantage, and a pump fake that’ll free him up when he gets into the lane against bigger players. He sets his feet fast, has a quick release on the perimeter. He’s a good mover without the ball looking to find open spots. He has the confidence a shooter needs to have. He hit 5-3’s in a game this season.
He has a good overall skill set. He’s probably a shooting guard now, but handles, passes and see the court well. He plays at a good pace not rushed on balance. He has a good jump shot from mid-range and 3 that goes in more often then not. He’s not super fast but can create and get his own shot. He’ll get into the paint to attack bigs at the rim or finish going around stretched arms. He helps rebound, then will push. 15pts a game.
He might fall under the glue guy for this team, he’s not a stat stuffer but does convert his shot opportunities, filling lanes for transition baskets, running down loose balls to get another possession for his team. He’s a good defender, helps in the middle of the court, gets his hands on loose passes playing the passing lanes. He takes it strong to the basket, and attacks the rim for rebounds from the guard position.
