Habhab has taken Michigan high school basketball by storm for the last 2 years. He has a skill set that is absolutely conducive to success at the next level. Habhab is an elite athlete at the power forward position that can finish above the rim with 2 handed force. He can also step outside, stretch the defense, and bury a triple. Habhab reminds me a lot of Hutch Ward, currently playing at Wayne State.
Ikechi moved up and has a very legitimate argument that it should have been way more. The Army commit has certainly turned heads this season. He’s probably one of the best pure rebounders in Michigan this season. Ikechi is very bouncy under the rim and gets off the ground quickly. He uses these traits to attack the ball off the rim and grab boards.
Logan Borodychuk Logan Borodychuk PF Mt. Pleasant | 2024 State MI is a terrific all around athlete and 2 sport star. He’s a Central Michigan University football commit. Borodychuk carries that elite combination of pure strength and athletic ability. This makes him a big time nightmare matchup for opposing teams. Even with his size and strength, his movement on the court is fluid and free.
Mutinda has had a really good senior season and it shows in his movement up the prospect rankings. That being said, the number doesn’t do his game justice. Mutinda plays a team first style of game which is so effective on a well coached Ann Arbor Pioneer team that shares the ball. Mutinda is a super consistent scorer that gets high percentage buckets. He’s just as consistent on the glass as he is on the offensive end.
I hate to pigeon hole a player like Bierhalter into a position, because well, the fact that I don’t have to is part of what makes him great. For the sake of this article, we’re going to call him a small forward. Bierhalter is a tremendous shooter that must be accounted for at all times behind the arc, as he can groove his jumper. He’s a strong and tough athlete that can play a physical game and come out ahead in that type of matchup.
