[player_tooltip player_id='1105536' first='Jeremiah' last='Evans'] - The Southwood big man got it going after a lackluster first half offensively. Evans erupted for 20 second half points scoring in the paint mostly. He sparked the Cowboys one play into the second half as he jumped in the passing lane at the top of the key and finished on the other end with a thunderous transition dunk. No drifting to the perimeter on this night as he commanded the paint offensively and defensively. He was challenged time and time again and came up with blocks and steals to help his team come out with the victory.

Jadell Demery - The Natchitoches forward played at a high level in the first half. His 15 points were scored by attacking the rim. He also used his body as a barrier to convert layups and jump hooks in the paint. Demery displayed a willingness to attack the rim while using his athleticism to defend the post. He finished with a double-double before fouling out (15 pts. and 10 rebounds)

[player_tooltip player_id='1347444' first='Bryson' last='Williams'] - While Williams scored just two points, it was his ability to handle the Chiefs pressure that made him a top performer. Williams faced full court defenders all night and had minimal turnovers. Bryson also showed an improved knowledge of feeding the post which helped [player_tooltip player_id='1105536' first='Jeremiah' last='Evans'] score easier. Williams defense also helped create turnovers as well. A great night for the Poke guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560371' first='Jaden' last='Braden'] - Braden was the best perimeter defender for the Chiefs on Wednesday. He defended baseline-to-baseline on Cowboy ball-handlers while scoring 10 points in various ways himself. Braden used his high level defense to get a couple of steals while deflecting other passes. He showed an ability to drive and draw fouls as well. His handling of the point guard duties allowed the Chiefs to be successful most of the night.

Other performers - [player_tooltip player_id='2382717' first='Logan' last='Smith'] (2 3's - 8pts.); Detreveon Lars (1 3 - 5 pts.)
