A prospect who got onto the radar at the final four last year, Campbell has continued his rise for Harvest Prep this season and become one of their most productive and consistent prospects. I’ve been impressed with his motor and ability to move off the ball and finish at the rim from the dunker spot. I’ll be curious to see if he grows any more from where he is at now, with a couple more inches he could be throwing down a lot of dunks with Harvest Prep’s fast style of play. I liked Campbell’s ability to finish with both hands and appears to be a capable shooter from the mid-range area already. A name to know in Central Ohio’s 2026 class.
Highlights
Carruthers has had some big games for Toledo Central Catholic this season. A long forward who is versatile at both ends of the court with his length and can defend both on the perimeter and interior. With his size and length, Carruthers can get second chance points with his motor. I caught Carruthers on the Prep Hoops Circuit this summer and at the Toledo Top 64, seeing him in multiple evaluation settings. With so much young talent at Toledo Central Catholic, the Irish have a ton of upside down the road and are a team to watch over the next few years in NW Ohio.
Licking Heights has been a surprise in central Ohio this season and they have a nice mix of experienced talent and youth on their roster. Lovinsky is the man in the middle for the Hornets with the ability to protect the rim and finish powerfully in the paint. I like Lovinsky’s feet defensively with how much ground he covers on the perimeter. With his explosiveness and good hands, Lovinsky is a great roll man for his guards to find when he’s cutting to the paint.
