Quincy Shootout: Top Missouri Guards

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This week was the Quincy (IL) shootout and the event featured a number of top Missouri teams. The following players from the Show Me State stood out and improved their stock over the course of two days.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1110315' first='Jasper' last='Johnson'] (Link Academy):</strong> Johnson looked like the best long-term prospect for a loaded Link Academy team at times. He's an elite athlete at 6'5, plays way above the rim, and was lights out from three. His jumper has come a long way. The lefty has noticeable range and a smooth yet unique release on his set shot. He went into double digits during both games and was a crowd favorite.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1887576' first='Colin' last='Keller'] (Chaminade):</strong> Keller is a key scoring threat for this team. He finds open shots through off ball movement and knowing his spots on the floor. He's a great jump shooter from three and on his one dribble pull-up game. The junior guard also showcased a finishing package vs. Millard North.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1422771' first='Exavier' last='Wilson'] (Father Tolton): </strong>Wilson had a great game vs. Curie out of Chicago and showcased the athletic traits that make him an exciting prospect. His second half dunk down the middle of the lane made him a household name for the day. He has a smooth pull-up game and an extensive handle package. Wilson is a top scoring guard in Missouri.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2334905' first='Gassim' last='Toure'] (Principia):</strong> Toure is a 2027 who has a high ceiling due to his motor, coachability, and athletic genes. He's really explosive going towards the basket and can make difficult plays off the bounce. A player with potential to be a dynamic two-way prospect. He's a FIBA u16 MVP so not an unknown prospect, but new to the states.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1160824' first='Chaz' last='Watson'] (Lee's Summit West):</strong> Watson had it going on Saturday. He's even more athletic than in the past and has gained confidence. A player who wears his heart on his sleeve and makes a lot of plays for his team. A great three point shooter with bounce at the rim. He's exciting to watch and made a statement with his play in Quincy.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
