<p>We are coming off of the holiday break in the state of Arkansas. However, we had plenty of tournaments and prospects making headlines over the past few weeks. We are going to highlight several prospects that have made headlines over the past week. The basketball season is heating up and it is time to see who is making headlines.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2021432' first='Ben' last='Manuel']-Combo Guard-Rogers Heritage-6'5” 2024</strong></p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2021432' first='Ben' last='Manuel'] and Rogers Heritage are off to a strong start to the high school basketball season. Both had an impressive showing against Moon Area, Pennsylvania over the break. Manuel racked up 29 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals against Moon Area. Manuel is having no problem filling up the stat sheet this season. The Rogers Heritage guard is a prospect to watch out for throughout the rest of the season.</p>

<p><strong>Marco Smith-Small Forward-Fort Smith Northside-6'7” 2024</strong></p>

<p>Marco Smith continues to open eyes this season. He is an active player on both ends of the court for Fort Smith Northside. Smith gets int the paint and will battle for rebounds. Meanwhile, he has a smooth jumper that forces the opposing defenders to account for him. During the break, Smith earned a scholarship offer from Harding University. He is a prospect to watch out for at the next level.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2311898' first='Devon' last='Green']-Small Forward-West Helena Central-6'5” 2024</strong></p>

<p>During the break, [player_tooltip player_id='2311898' first='Devon' last='Green'] opened plenty of eyes at the Clarendon Christmas Tournament. Green was active on both ends of the court for West Helena Central. At the championship game, Green posted 15 points and 29 rebounds on the night. He has no problem getting in the post and battling for rebounds. Look for Green to continue his strong season as the season progresses.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2021880' first='JJ' last='Andrews']-Combo Guard-Little Rock Christian-6'7'' 2026</strong></p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2021880' first='JJ' last='Andrews'] is having a tremendous high school basketball season. He plays on both ends of the court with an extremely high motor. At the King Cotton Classic, Andrews had an impressive tournament. Against Booker T. Washington out of Texas, Andrews struck for 33 points, 19 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 blocks, and 3 steals. He continues to display his ability on both ends of the court and is going to be a major targets for college programs over the next few years.</p>
